I'd like to add my rwo cents on Lenovo.

My usb C charging port failed after 10 days into the ownership of a Thinkpad E14, R7 and after calling them their so called premier service centre, the couldn't do anything about it except wait 3 weeks for a new mother board to arrive. They even threatened me that 1 to 1 exchange needs management approval and may take even longer.

When the due date arrives and i called to check on the arrival of the parts (yes i had to call myself to follow up. No updates whatsoever), it was pushed back another week. Finally when it came, the "technician" broke my back cover's clip. But they agreed to replace it.

So in total, the service is mediocre, technician have zero know how. All in all very unpleasant.

Would i stay away from them? No. Cause the laptop is really good (for me atleast) and they solved the problem in the end and also extended the warrant accordingly.
