Hell no, Asus is totally shit. High QC problems and even worse after sales service. Went through 4 "mid tier" laptop before found a decent one, but within few days of purchase had to send in for service.
Best part is that they do not have ready spare parts, so be prepared to wait for "MONTHS" for them just to order the part from Taiwan. And not guaranteed that part will fix your problems.

Just like mine, waited for a month for the part to arrive, only for them to say another part got problem and have to order ANOTHER part. Asus suck so bad.
