Hello...actually I'm thinking of several option here base on my current PC. I'm using a :
Compaq Presario Micro ATX- Asus P4G533LA, intel chipset i845GL P4 2.4ghz northwood, Slot 1-DDR 256 PC2300 (142Mhz), Slot 2-DDR 256 PC2300 (200Mhz). ) One 40GB and 80 GB HDD. My mobo don't have AGP port which is why I'm looking for a PCI graphic card. However, I heard that PCI graphic card loose out to AGP graphic card by comparison with the same series. But this option not too costly as I only have to buy one PCI GC and problem solved. But I'm also looking for other option such as swap my non AGP-port mobo to another mobo with AGP or PCI-E port. Add up with some graphic card. This one will be quite costly as I need extra cost to buy new mobo and GC. My budget for this kind of setup will be around rm500. My usage is 80% for normal usage such as words, PPT, movie, MP3, streamyx...I'm not really into games eventhough I enjoy some NFS action and Hitman...but my current PC not capable to perform this task. So, two option, which one is the best. Any alternative? |
