My monitor have three display input port: HDMI, DVI and VGA. So I just plug my Xbox through HDMI, and my PC through DVI. I just tap on a button on my monitor to change the input source.

If you only have a vga input then get a vga switch or something. Can't remember what it's called but it can be done. Go to any pc shop and tell them how you want it and they will show you. That thing is relatively cheap so shouldn't be a problem.
