restart steam??

Happened to me yesterday, just simply shut down ur steam completely and restart it

next time always restart steam after updating the game
if not can cause hang or cannot start like that

I dont think i got it right, it still doesn't show up after i made the notepad file and named it in the right folder, but my steam isn't in program files tho, so it wont work if its that way?

the issue was that my file was saved in the dota beta config area, instead of the dota cfg
