how you guys pick the names for your character during character creation?

I always have trouble naming mine. lack of creativity I guess.

If i were u, i would not waste time to think so much abt the char name, just put memphiz enough. Nice Nickname what~ LoL

that's what I usually do in ALL games.

you can put all of them same one no problem.

1st char: memphiz
2nd char: memphiz
3rd char: memphiz
4th char: memphiz
5th char: memphiz
.
.
.
.
....

if me i'd just name with anything on my sight

reuse char names from previous rpgs

but all use same name

each rpg u onri have 1 char ah?

usually. or I just use default name. like ME3.

Anime character names, your favorite fantasy novel character name, your favorite football player...

so many things u can name your char with... ^^

ic. try to add suffix or prefix to your main name according to what you play. say if ur name is memphiz and u makin a demon hunter then name him memphiz the hunter or memphiz demonbane or whatever. for wizard, memphiz the white or arcane memphiz. got it?

Go google those weird and rare names from other countries, perhaps u'll like it, or use some sorta aura feeling on ur IGN, ppl see ppl scared, those kind. haha~

get a name generator to generate a list for u to pick... lol

oso try to do research abit about the character class you about to pick and start tweaking from there. do a bit of mix and match or some wordplay/puns based on the name you found.

for example if u makin a barbarian with a bit of googling you can find out that Bul'Kathos was a great barbarian king in diablo universe. the name is almost similar to the main character of god of war game, Kratos. mix them both and u will end up with Bul'Kratos.

if u play diablo 2 u will know that there are 3 legendary ancient barbarians, Talic, Korlic and Madawc. they are also referenced in D3 barbarian's call of the ancients' skill. made up your story that theres a 4th less popular barbarian with almost similar name. think what rhymes with Talic or Korlic or Madawc. im thinking of the malt beverage Horlicks so name him Horlic. voila!

try to relate to anything you can about the character. the skill, the class, the lore. think of a simple origin story of your character. give him personality. you are playing a role playing game so play a role.

since I lack creativity (bad part of me ), always struggle to name a character.

last time when creating character for Dragon Nest, I took nearly half an hour just to think a name for my first char.

last time i play Diablo...after my name syn.then i use yuyu, yoyo, ghost, yiyi....use animal name also ok...wolf...or god name thor...apolo...venus...or superhero name Kal-El...zod..Jor-El...Kar...

this time have Monk..so will think a chinese monk name for it...
other haven think yet...will use my real name 1st...

i wont use that name, sked kena softmod flame
