Just wondering if anybody knows whether Maxis supports Fast Dormancy? Apparently it seems like if the service provider does not support this, it's good to switch it off in our phones in order to improve battery life.

QUOTE(kaheng20 @ Jun 8 2012, 02:19 PM) Anyone encounter suddenly lost mobile data while your phone signal full bar but there is no "H, 3G, E, or even G'. I need to turn off my mobile network and turn it on again, my mobile data will come back on again so weird. Well I do occasionally get this especially when I sleep. The next morning I wake up, the mobile data is unavailable and need to manually turn off and then on it again. But it's not really an issue for me. Anyway, I'm using the 11.69A.3504.00_11.23.3504.07_M2 radio and seems to be pretty stable so far, haven't really seen this issue lately.

QUOTE(droidtrix @ Jun 8 2012, 03:06 PM) Yes, that's right, I also using this 11.69A.3504.00_11.23.3504.07_M2 radio, so far so good, quite stable and fast also when downloading any data (I will get 186 KB/s unlike to earlier radio that i used where I only can download about 75 KB/s). Call Quality also good and clear. Just one thing to ask, when I dont want to use, should switch off the data mobile switch or leaving on? What are the implication? So far I didn't switch off my mobile data. Some of them reported that switching off mobile data can actually reduce battery drain which some applications like juice defender can be configured to switch it off when you sleep based on the profile set. However, I leave it on and so far I've no issues with battery drain on this area. Added on June 8, 2012, 3:52 pmQUOTE(kaheng20 @ Jun 8 2012, 03:17 PM) Ok will try out the 11.69A.3504.00_11.23.3504.07_M2 radio. It can only flash by using adb? I used the adb method coz I find it so much easier. Do remember to flash the matching RIL as well after you've updated the radio. The matching RIL for this radio version is HTC-RIL 4.0.0017HMQ. QUOTE(chickenducksoup @ Jun 26 2012, 09:21 AM) Bricked Kernel 1.31 suck my juice gao-gao..... 100 % battery with On wifi will only last 2 to 3 hour You mean your phone lasted only 2-3 hours? That's scary. Just wondering, did you do another reboot cycle after you flashed the kernel? My usual practice is always after flashing any kernels, I'll let the ROM boot up and stabilize for a while and then do a full reboot cycle. I flashed bricked 1.31 yesterday, did a full charge last night around 10pm, did a couple of SMSes, a bit of browsing and went to sleep. This morning I last checked around 8am, the battery was still at 100%.

QUOTE(jangz.ES @ Jun 26 2012, 04:56 PM) Downloaded. Already check md5. Reflashed Bricked. Still experience bootloop.. In fact, I ran superwipe followed by flash arhd 6.6.7. Still no luck. Which version of Bricked did you download? There are currently 2 versions, one for AOSP-based and the other for Sense-based ROMs. Since you're going for ARHD, you should be flashing this one. This post has been edited by wlteh: Jun 26 2012, 05:00 PM

Added on July 1, 2012, 8:32 pmQUOTE(entahla @ Jul 1 2012, 07:32 PM) oh i meant v1.31. and yeah, checked the md5sum and it matches. but still wifi error. tried 3 times already Make sure you've downloaded the Sense-based Bricked v1.31 because there is another AOSP-based version which will not work with Leedroid's ROM. QUOTE(chickenducksoup @ Jul 19 2012, 09:16 AM) anyone have try Briked kernel v1.4? http://bricked.de/index.php?action=downloa...able&type=sensecant find the change log***just come across i still in 3.32 FW did they change alot on 3.33 FW? v1.4 is supposed to be rebased on the 3.33 source and is suppose to fix the issue where the new adreno GPU drivers (from ROMs based on 3.33) causing reboots on 3.32 based kernels. However, I see that there are still some issues with v1.4 as reported by many of them in xda. If you're on a ROM which is still based on 3.32, I'd suggest that you stick with your current kernel. As for the 3.33 FW, I understand that the only change is the new radio. You can still flash the radio separately if you want. So far I'm getting pretty good reception with this new radio, better than the previous one.

QUOTE(kaheng20 @ Jul 20 2012, 10:57 AM) Can't stand on the Bricked kernel V1.4 random reboot, my phone suddenly freeze and reboot several time now back to Bricked kernel V1.36 Like I mentioned in my previous post, there are still some problems with the v1.4 and folks in xda have been reporting that also. What is your ROM based and FW version? EDIT: from your banner, I assume you're on Leedroid? Leedroid is still on 3.32 if I'm not wrong, so the best bet right now is stick with the 3.32 kernel for stability. This post has been edited by wlteh: Jul 20 2012, 11:05 AM

QUOTE(kaheng20 @ Jul 20 2012, 11:12 AM) Yup on Leedroid V7.3 3.32 base, but from show-p thread there are users doing great with V1.4 base on 3.32 as well. Should wait for show-p to solving out the problem This was the statement from Faux regarding HTC's released 3.33 source: "they changed their own baseline version to another branch from Qualcomm... so it is causing quite a bit of compatibility issues..." Faux found this when he's trying to build the new kernel for 3.33-base and that's the reason why he's holding it and trying to clean up all the issues before releasing the new kernel.

QUOTE(queenc @ Jul 24 2012, 02:09 AM) Owh ok ok.. Do we snyc our contact with google? By the way i been use Leedroid, Elegancia, Arhd and many more sense custom rom. just wanna know, if use senseless custom rom. anything noticeable changes?? beside no sense? in term of performance?(smoothness) battery life?? /thank you I've been using Hypernonsense so far and no regrets at all. It's been very stable, smooth and battery life is fabulous! I started from ARHD, tried Leedroid and then Hypernonsense, never thought of going back to Sense after that. However, it's all up to personal preferences ya.

QUOTE(walamak1988 @ Jul 24 2012, 11:55 AM) If I'm not mistaken, Hypernonsense ROM is a sense based ROM with the sense stripped off..The non Sense based ROM is Hypersensation instead (developed by the same developer) Yeah, Hypernonsense has the Sense part stripped off because this is the only way to have the best of both worlds. There is a reason why the Sense base is maintained in order to run those applications built on Sense. The reason why I didn't go for Hypersensation is because of the camera (tried that before and went back to Hypernonsense). I still find the Sense camera a lot better and stable compared to AOSP/CM's camera at the moment. Again, this depends on personal preferences.

QUOTE(queenc @ Jul 25 2012, 01:17 AM) viper too much hype...lagging jerking my hp extremly hot even lite usage of twitter what the diff between aosp and aokp ??? google it ..i dont understand AOSP is Android Open Source Project. Actually AOKP was derived from AOSP. The original source code was from AOSP and then some devs will take the code and modify them and therefore becomes AOKP which stands for Android Open Kang Project. "Kang" is actually a word for "stealing" someone's code but of course in this context here, it's not for a negative purpose but towards a positive purpose in making the code better and further enhancing it.
