anyone used the anker's 1900mah battery??? can give some feedback about it??? where to get it btw?
*
been using it for a month plus, extended the battery life definitely. i got it from ebay seller wolfhonor9 (if i still remember the username correctly). worth to invest if you're intend to keep your sensation, i no longer using my battery bank while on the go after switching to anker.

Do I just flash the Kernel straight?
Don't have to wipe anything right?
Thanks.
*
Yes you can flash the kernel in recovery straight without wipe.

QUOTE(yeane @ Jun 10 2012, 06:07 PM)
hiya, i hv get myself  a new sensation xe yesterday.
It is great but if i found a issue tht i hv to press power button in order to wake it up from sleep mode from time to time... which i think this might kill the power button easily..

is there any apps tht could wake it up from sleep mode without pressing the power button?
*
welcome to the club mate!

no worries about the wear out rate to your power button, it can easily lasts for years. if you insist not to wake the phone via physical button (be it power button or volume button), there's an option - sweep2wake introduced by kernel developer - showp. in order to use sweep2wake option, you have to root your phone and run with custom rom to pair with the kernel.

meantime, have fun with your new toy!

Already have it in my phone, just not sure how to read my current setting..haha

I assume that you are using latest or at least, recent version of system tuner. Launch the app and will see "voltage". That is where you can see the voltage values.

On screen time around 1 hour 30 mins + smile.gif, if really wanna move to Vipers V1.2.1 firmware 3.32 and 3.33 should be fine. I'm having issue with CWM-based Recovery v6.0.1.2 while flashing V1.2.1 my phone can't boot, so i flash 4Ext to get my phone work again lol.

Thanks mate, for your input and sharing. Perhaps it is time to move on to some other rom..

*
i've joined the bandwagon.. fast responsive rom i would say..

my first full charges lasted me 7 hrs plus with mobile data on throughout the period. 3 hrs screen on time with anker.

3hrs screen on time within 7hrs...this guy is a heavy user...

lol., not so heavy.. email / communication takes up most of the tasks..

QUOTE(kaheng20 @ Sep 8 2012, 10:11 AM)
3 hours??!! too excited to explore your new ROM LOL.
*
indeed there are many cool features of the rom, yet to discover them all.

not sure if any of you have the same issue like me.. enabling infinite scroll, the switching of widget between the overlapping screen is jerky, plus the last widget will remain on the next screen. got to scroll backward once in order to view the assigned widget properly.

can anyone recommend a replacement battery for my htc sensation? the ori batt's lifespan is getting short by the day. sad.gif

You may try Anker 1900mah battery. There are few of us are using it. Just place order via eBay, costs me around rm80 plus.
