Guys just curious...when you pop your model out of the packaging, is it normally oily?

Probably the Raptor is a hot item, eh?  brows.gif

Yeah, issue 9 seems to be easily sold out. Still got loads of the Hornet though. Just wondering, are you guys planning to collect all or just certain models? To be honest I'm only interested in the Harrier, Tomcat, Eagle and the Fighting Falcon in addition to the Hornet and Raptor. Was kinda hoping they'd release the Nighthawk but I think that's not really considered a fighter plane.

Actually, I understand why the F-22 Raptor is so popular, because of its inclusion in famous movies etc like transformers. But one thing I don't like about the model, is that it's a victim of its own design. Look at it, so smooth, not many lines and colours, even the weapon loadout is stored inside. Compare that to the Hornet just before it. So many lines and details. So I don't understand why everyone is rushing for the raptor, when other models actually do have a bit more details.

Guys, just to share a site I found on the Internet.
They discuss about the aircrafts as well as give comparison with other manufacturers where possible. I like especially the summarized review on the planes up till issue 40. They're on page 18... thumbup.gif

Something to do while we wait for the next issues... whistling.gif

Great find! Not surprised the F-22 only got a 4/10.

Believe me, you're not missing much. It's one of the simplest models with least details and plain colours.

What do you guys think were the best detailed models? I found the F-22 Raptor really lacking in detail...prob because the actual plane itself doesn't have prominent details in real life. I heard the Harrier was really good (issue 7?)

*edit: also does anyone know what the local releases are? eg. which planes are which issue? first post only has the first plane sad.gif
