Guys just curious...when you pop your model out of the packaging, is it normally oily?

Guys, noticed one thing while checking the F/A-18 Super Hornet... check yours to see if you have it as well...
The decal of the US emblem with the red lightning on the side of the plane just under the cockpit, is inverted with 2 points of the white star pointing upwards. It's supposed to be one point pointing upwards. I took 2 sets of these from the same F/A-18 Allscript box, and both are having the same defect. It's the same inverted US emblem on the underside of the wings. I think it's the whole box that is affected!!!
BTW, I checked photos in the last few pages of this forum for the F/A-18 just to confirm on this.

Yeah, issue 9 seems to be easily sold out. Still got loads of the Hornet though. Just wondering, are you guys planning to collect all or just certain models? To be honest I'm only interested in the Harrier, Tomcat, Eagle and the Fighting Falcon in addition to the Hornet and Raptor. Was kinda hoping they'd release the Nighthawk but I think that's not really considered a fighter plane.

Probably subscribe until get the binder. After that, it will be which model that I fancy since the quality of this collection is a bit hit and miss.

Just curious, how do u guys display yur plane collections? Do u  group them by Era, by country or manufacture etc... 

Alas, i've found a nesting ground of raptor in melaka. This boom shop still have 9 more raptors...thinking of buying all, and resells at rm50 each...hah,easy money!

Contacted Allscript yesterday and advised still latest issue is no. 10 only. No new models coming in yet...
Noted again will be 48 issues, 2 more than the Australian version. Surveyed through the Australian version and roughly are these... Not necessary in this order....
