Just try to open the cover and put in the cabin air filter.

Your picture is too small, I can't see it clearly.

Is there a screw need to be loosen in order to open the cover?

If not, you have to use a small knife to cut out a slot in order to put in the cabin air filter.

Myvi original cabin air filter is like a net with bigger holes whereas my cabin air filter is paper type (tiny holes) which enables for better filtration. Carbon type cabin air filter normally is for car models such as Honda & Toyota.

The long thing soft sponge thing with sticky is for you to stick along the cover so any gap along the cover can be sealed properly to prevent any air leaking.
