Solo the Nightmare with DH level 52

4.5k DPS / 15k HP

Tips :
Unify + Ultra Graphic Card
2 Hand Crossbow + Quiver for Max and Stable Skill Dmg
Use jugged trap to mass kill and ultra fast regen ( with life steal on bow )
Use preparation for instant 60% hp heal
Sentry + Dark Cloud to suck even more blood.

DH consider the most effective blood sucker class in Diablo 3.
Many blood sucking skill.

Dont use dual-wield crossbow, you trade everything for just for little atk speed gain.........

Sorry nope. Hand crossbow dmg too unstable, eg 18~108....

you can stay cool before hell level. Once you enter hell level, Hand crossbow really sucks.....

100% gold find, ( change equipment every level )
life on hit 100
1000 : 450 / dex : vit

Never use hand crossbow

to maximize jugged trap, use 2handed Crossbow with life on hit.

keep running and laying trap + valley of death

passive use +15% dmg on slowed creep.

follow = templar.

best farming place in hell = Act 3. i run the whole act 3 ~ 4 times = frm 52 > 60 in 2 days.

useless. any rare bow can beat this easily.
any legendary before lv60 is a waste of money

when you reach lv35, even magic bow draw higher dmg than this so called "legendary bow"

but, if you can sell it about 20k, i will buy

Great Tips for DH want to Power Level 51 ~ 60.

Stat Setting
7:3 Dex:Vit

Skill deployed
Must be Elative Mode
Jugged Trap, Battle Scar(60% hp recover), Valley of Death(Mark), Dark Cloud(Rain of Death)
Scatter Shot, Rapid Fire( i switch to ferrot companion for more gold drop )

EQ Setting
2hand Crossbow + Quiver
Why? Your skill DMG Count only your Weapon dmg ONLY, not its Atk Speed. Meaning :

680DPS BOW dmg is same with 680DPS 2hand Crossbow.
But the dmg count in your skill, eg jugged trap. 680DPS Crossbow will be 30% higher than Bow

Because , Bow atk/second = 1.4
2h Crossbow atk/second = 1.1
With lower DMG, bow can achieve higher DPS because faster atk speed.
BUT The skill do not count your Weapon Atk Speed, count only DMG spread.

So, for maximum Skill dmg, the finest choice is 2h Crossbow. Lowest dmg spread, Highest DMG.
For newbie, you can continue using hand crossbow ( highest atk speed, lowest dmg, largest dmg spread )
Theoretically, your normal dmg is meaningless. Skill dmg is much more effective.

Gold Find
minimum 80%
You need to upgrade your gear every level ( at least one )
i switch 6pcs 2h crossbow from 52 ~ 60

Magic find
Simple Useless. Why?
100%you need gold.
but not 100% the rare gear you drop is what you want, and more importantly, and worse - its worthless.
I have stack naphelem valor x5 with magic find 104%, drop nothing usefull for 10 hours farm..... ( in hell mode )

Extra
Get life on hit when your dps is low
do the math.

Place to Level
Simply act 3
Open space do not suitable for leveling DH. When there is a lot of door/stairs, you can effectively place your trap along the stairs, doors.
in Act 3, the level design simply sweet spot for DH.

i think you didnt read my post about relationship between All resist and Armor.

70 all resist > 700 armor.

Tracker Device Details explained :

392 Armor + 45 Str + 70 All resist = more than 1137 armor ( cause 1 all resist > 10 armor in your case )
53 Dex
73 Vit = +2555HP

Noble Shelter Details :
663(+253 armor included) + 78 Str = 741 Armor
99 Dex
Bonus Features
+56 Poison Resist
+433 Life Per second

--------------
Defensive Grade = Tracker Device 40% Higher in armor rating
Dmg = Noble Shelter Provide 46 Dex extra ( ~ almost nothing )
Regenaration - Noble Shelter provide 433 Life/Sec (~depend your tactic. but DH do not count on life regen to heal. Vampirism is DH)

Answer is clear.
Just dont understand why you still using flawless gem?

update:

k i read it. so your saying all res also adds toward armor ? ( as in it will also somehow reduce damage from physical sources as well ? ) hmm.gif

my simple understanding is this.
armor = reduce damage from all sources, ranged and melee dps.

all res = only reduces damage from magic spells only (resists like poison etc only effect for that 1 particular spell effect only). It does not reduce damage from physical damage

So is my assumption correct on this ?  hmm.gif

Nope.

All resist same as Armor.

But all resist have priority in dmg reduction calculation.

eg, 100 DMG from enemy,

real dmg = 100 DMG - All Resist % - Armor %

that is why 1 all resist = 10 armor.

Bro, this math terms might out of your understanding.

why all resist 10x greater than armor?

because in damage reduction calculation,

all resist count 1st.

let said you have -50% reduction all resist , and -50% reduction from armor

10000 DMG - 50% = 5000DMG ( so all resist reduce 5000 DMG )

5000DMG - 50% = 2500DMG ( Armor reduct 2500 DMG )

as i said, go read my post about relation with armor vs alresist..
