with SharpShooter skill enabled, it just shows you the maximum damage you can deal, which is the critical.

Hell mode need to spend so much? I spent 5k per armor also can settle Diablo already.

Added on July 14, 2012, 12:51 pmwahh my DH super duper resist compared to many DH i come by. Resist all 700+, fire 800+. with War Cry (barb) my resist go up to 1k++ with 1.1k on arcane and 1.2k on fire.

By the pic you show - that's where I'm heading!!! Already suited my game style with that.

It's quite helpful being a tank/melee DH as I can do range damage and and I can tank too. Even when standing still, I can hit stuff near and far.

In my experience, like say when I party with another DH - the advantage is I get to stay alive a lot and in many cases, I get to tank so the other DH can dps while i dps close range.

If not also I can distract a few of the smaller minions (like those accompany the yellow elite) and let the DH / Others settle the rest.

yup. both kiting is run run. shoot once or twice. run run run again.

in my case, i get to tank even for 5 - 10 seconds also good, the other DH / WIZ / WD has ample time to deal a whole bunch of damage before having to run again.

Added on July 14, 2012, 1:32 pmi call mine the "kiasi" build because I really am kiasi when playing DH. LOH 800+, life regen 700+ (i think, figures keep change from time to time) and all resist is 700+ with HP around 30k.

I don't do much damage compared to other DH despite using 900+ dmg weapon with +70% crit gem. still need to upgrade the rest of the armor.

I may have to give up on life-regen.

wow, there are people willing to pay so much just for the amulet. costs 4x the game itself.

yeah i just browse the 1H bow price - crazily different from 2H bow. I stick with 2H Bow + Quiver for now.

can you bring all 3 to begin with?

mine's between a tank and a dps hunter. more towards the tank side but 1 hand bow + shield is costly.

had an awesome game with wkkay last night.

i tanked Inferno Act III Siegebreaker while wkkay do the DPSing.

yup. you can come witness my DH any time you see me online.

i was on my full tank setup, 58k dps ~30k hp, ~800 resist with 3.5k armor. only this setup can survive in Act III. if Barb gives war cry, resist goes above 1k. Fire at 1.2k.

my usual MF / speed setup with a little higher DPS (around 68k) works fine in Act I / II.

my full DPS setup goes to nearly 80k dmg, works fine in Act I / II but have to do more kiting.

i call my melee / tank DH the "kiasi" build. It's not tank like polarzbearz's friend with 1H bow + shield + 60k HP but it still tanks pretty decently.

Act I i can tank 2 elite packs at once (depending on type). Act II i can tank 1 - 2, depending. Rock Giant and such better run cos a few hit can KO. Act III ah, tanking is only for a while. have to run and kite a bit. tank again.

i can survive his multiple hits and charge despite 30k hp. however I must drink pot after that because my LOH and regen isn't fast enough to reach the "Safe" level before he does another triple strike.

btw I died at the very last minute, like say 5% of the fella's health left but it was good enough for my party member to deal the final damage.

our first attempt I died at 25% health bar left. KO. 2nd attempt I died too soon (right at the start) so kthxbai too. in short, I just have to survive long enough to drain enemy HP to lead to the kill. was fun!

My LOH relies heavily on mobs and whatever else that foes multiple hits.

If nothing else to hit then I have to run.

I find going around with less than 400 Res is not nice.

i have HUGE problem with Glass Cannon build.

Even last time when I play Hell mode using all green gems - DIE AT BOSS!! Every one of them. No choice every time reach boss I have to swap gems to purple ones.

My build no problem with fire chain, molten, whatever. just the occasional death due to arcane. That one still very strong despite my high resist.

Hulking Phasebeast would be in Act III, yeah they're tough even in Hell mode.

my DH can solo Act I all the way.
Act II can solo all the way, until Belial
Act III pretty tough to solo already but can party decently, recently can tank Siegebreaker. Ghom is impossible at the moment.

54k dps with SS (about 18k clean), 30k HP, 3.5k armor, 800+/- on all resist

oh 1500k no wonder la. my LOH highest also around 1k but with my recent weapon upgrade I'm down to about 700+ only.

good idea though, I think I'm going to try 1k LOH with my gem. will try tonight.

i got most of that covered. my LOH is already 700+, and i can add a gem for additional 300+. my regen is already at some 600 or so I think.

max i can get is 1k LOH. doesn't seem to work with ghom.

actually, that's the EXACT type of bow i"m looking for. crit + loh + more than 900.

however 2hand xbow you guys sure can sell that high? IIRC it's the 1 hand bow that's selling super high price.
