just got a 450dps legendary 2hand staff for lvl50.. 50k only..lolx can start hell mode with 5k dps d... hehe

low aspd but high dmg is mostly better for all of wizard skills.. even for channeling.spells high attk speed will burn your mana faster.

lol same same... during beta I play wizard then feel so boring and weak... change to monk and was good..

then game launch I take monk play until lol 20 then see a wizard.using.disintegrate..... fuuuuu straight away change I restart with wizard. now everyday comet.boom.boom boom..... I choose.all the spells that pretty wan... lol

depends on your play style... I normally go for magic missile and other skills that give aoe dmg. prefer to attk from far

I go.for.which ever gives more dmg.... currently 2 hand staff. I feel better for kiting... spam blizzard and hydra/meteor and run run run.... signature spell only when got awesome tanker around.

changed my build yesterday to a melee wizard..

reduced my dps from 28k(with magic weapon) to only 12k
increased all resistance from 200 to 600 (with prismatic armor)
increased armor from 3.5k to 7k (with force armor)
reduced life from 30k to 20k
reduced attk speed from 2.42 to 2
increased life on hit to 588
reduced life regen from 300/s to 0/s
decreased movement speed from 25% to 12%
increased crit chance 5% to 20%

final comment... much more fun... can at least survive in act2 inferno... the barbs and monks die faster than me smile.gif

yah.. and I got a shield with crit% so that boosted my armor and crit%

top up with force armor (prismatic rune) then it can buff up further the armor and resistances. downside is I lose dps but I think I'm still doing more dmg now as am wacking creeps In the face instead of wasting time kiting.

spend about 400k to change 4 or 5 gears... so actually affordable lah..

force armor and prismatic armor is a rune, while the original skill is energy armor.

can... 400k can easily do well for melee wizard for act 1. but your dps will suffer a lot so need to farm with a DH or a glass cannon wizard.

also need crit hit chance.

same except I swap force weapon for the wave of force thingie... gives myself breathing space if too many elite mobs surround me and also to deflect for mobs with slow projectiles

I think the familiar will be more useful? since mostly u spamming arcane blade? not sure overall dmg output better or magic weapon.

maybe also can.consider slowtime..which increase your attk speed

lol I prefer survivability over dps because always in public games only. leave the dps to DHs and glass.cannon wizards...

i would say that my force weapon is the most useless skill.
swap it with familiar? if i use slow time should i swap it with frost nova?

also what do you use to proc your critical mass! smile.gif any other skills other than meteor?
i tried twister - wicked wind before that was not bad (only if got alot of mobs. 1v1 monster i kena rape

swap force weapon.out ba... just don't swap nova as its too useful.

meteor.good.enough.. I think most other spell need too much arcane so I just take an extra survivability skill or maybe venom hydra can strongly consider too.

melee build with slow time and attk speed rune also good.... definetly helps with survivability to slow down attacks and also increase your attk speed...

yes good for public games because u will be more awesome than barbs and monks.

bad for single player because dps sux... u will fall asleep wacking creeps.

I switched from kiting to melee and so far good choice for public games where your team mates are DH or glass canon wizards. with sup par gear can survive act 2 ad well... not sure about further acts but should be.no problem based on online comments

Wiz is not built for tank like monk / barb.
monk and barb have like and self sustain spells. not WIZ JUST NOT WIZ!!
