any 1 change to shield wiz? cos i just start to use shield. gooding mang can tank act 2 elite no problem

i like follow a barb cos of their shout lol all resist goes skyhigh though dps much reduce dt wearing a shield wif only has resist and some vit

and there is boss with arcane votex jailer fast nightmare and wall 1 suck to them terus ko need some hp resist also for survivability if play with tanker may consider pure glass cannon built

the left weapon have int and better range dmg
the right 1 has increase arcane dmg

i'm using hydra blizz and primary as main so which 1 is better?

since it would be almost perma frost/shield by using crit mass those hu have decent crit would be almost unbeatable when PVP came?

Just met a godly wiz wif dps of 13xk by the name ARCHON later i post his gear

seriously i never met any more wiz that godlier than this

bought maximus at 5m and put it on enchantress now i got 2 followers

since patch 1.04 they improved hydras alot last time venom is good but now arcane and frost hydras are better in my point of view it seem they dealt more dmg

can sugesst me ? i got 2 slot
i was thinking of either
frost hydra + meteo
of blizz + arcane hydras
which is better

1st choice got slow + damage
2nd huge slow effect + arcan dmg

i'm not cm wiz but still tank like a boss in act 4. with my build i make optimum use of the health globe/ healling pots and crystal shell as my effective health pool is high dt high res from int/res + armor. just need a bit of crit and dmg then ok liao

dear chii, u got the dps and resist but if u up ur armor to more than 6-7k then shud be tanking alone d in act 4

u need to have balance ratio resist to armor have effective life pool

Added on September 8, 2012, 12:52 pmdepending on ur play if u want solo get dps around 40k then max tanking- armor resist get life about 40k. like this u can partial kite and tank
if cannot survive and keep dying its no fun anymore even u got the dps.
wiz has strong magic def - the prism rune + passive reduce melee actack 20%
thats mean every armor and resist u add is 65% more u can switch to glass cannon if u think ur def is over to boost ur atk

if u pt wif monk(regen) and bard(boost resist) u will be more tanking then them

with good def, every life u gain (either by LOH/regen/life steal) will improved its effectiveness.

morever crystal shell is the ultimate. its literally means u have another 21k of life in 6 sec and with 15sec cooling. 21k EFFECTIVE LIFE!!
in the same time when u are in god mode u are regaining some life!! wiz def is totally awsome

i just tried archon (fast cooldown rune built + cm)
crstal shell + Pure Power + twister + cm
by total crit only 27 but suffice to turn archon in most boss fight

any 1 can comfirm how much dmg % increase from archon?

It does increase dmg but not sure how much.

some player said it has increase life regen/life steal but not sure its true.

yes wiz takes 30% more from melee class but what energy armor/prism rune and improved archon does is significant boost of resistant helps a lot in tanking during archon.
