WW/CM wiz here looking for party (prefer ww/cm using wormhole for fast runs). Wanting to farm act 2 smooth with 2 frost nova its gg for those bloody shielding maggots.

Im at 50+ mf, 23k dps, 23k hp, 5k+ armr/500RA+ buffed with pin point armor, 48%cc, 160%+ cd.

Ytd too tired but will play tonight. Hopefully act 3 is easier.

Proc rate of the famous CM/WW twister had drop from 0.25% to 0.125%. The chance to successfully crit with wicked wind dropped 1/4 fraction. What happens when your proc rate drops is that crit rate drops, APoC drops, cooldowns longer, slow DSkin FNova EB spamming, LoH drop. In short les survivability and less dps. But according to wat the forums said, if you have 43%cc+ and 1.6aspd, you dont feel much change than pre-1.04

Anyway, archon seems the most viable build now but u need to be a multimillionaire to run that build. Needs high armor, high resist, high LS, high crit chance and crit damage.

Dear cm/sc wiz out thr, act 3 don't really req much armor n ar. I'm no pro but I survive n farm efficiently with this stats

Do this:
700ar 6k armor buffed, 45% cc at least includes twister cc frm main or followers, 400 loh sufficient, 17 apoc atleast, 35k dps at least, 25k hp. 1.6 aspd recommended bt I'm at 1.4 and cool with it.

The thing is, the mor dps u hav the less u die bcos elites will b dead in 5-10+ seconds.
Use diamond shards rune instead of crystal shell- that's nearly 1.5-2 times mor dps
use evocation instead of blur- every second counts for a spammer.
Run tele with safe passage if ur spamming isn't fast.
U will never hav prob wit melee elites. Not entirely bt wil die few times per run especially imba range mobs.

Anyway, I'm looking for wizzies farm party. 2 shocking aspect wiz(with a barb warcry shocking aspect is at its best) ,1 archon wiz/dh,lastly the hero barbarian with warcry thT don't die a lot. We shud make full use of cm/sc before it gets nerfed. I shall post in the barb forums too =)

Anyway, is thr any updates on wiz nerf? i heard we freeze wiz are goin to b lousy in 1.05

No way to ocmpare which class has lowest dps. Dps is really gear dependant mayb a little help from skills.
If you want to see real damage, try shocking aspect rune from storm armor. you can see almost 5-7x faster kills comapred to prismatic armor.
In solo, I'm at 59k dps and can down azmodan in 15s with shocknado and diamond shard runes. Yes, that is like he dies after casting the first black pool.

So the paper dps isnt real, assmodan has 7.4m health divided by 15s that is roughly 450k + dps..not 59k dps.
So conclusion, dps paper doesnt mean anything at all, it is how well u can stand and dish out damage as fast as possible w/o dying of course.

damn u really should try shocking aspect. Dont do diamond shards, vry low survivability unless got 1.9aspd to perma frost ppl.
If 70k dps with shocknado and diamond shards, i magine u could down assmodan in less than 10s. O_O

Yah true, if you look at those ppl in the link i posted. Especially aimless or nitrocan. They have 450-500ra from equipments(exclude int and buffs)
So, achieve tht and u can run shocking aspect alrdy.
If no, then stick with prismatic. Its not bad actuly jz slower kill.
You can sit in 3x desc pools lik a boss.

Yo my brothers of the lore,

Cm isn't dead yet.
U jz nid 25apoc, 1.8aspd, 600loh, 43cc, mayb 30k dps abov cukup, 700/4000 ar/armor.
Run the shockbatu build bcos its proc rate is 2nd highest after Sc :

Meteor - liquify bcos 8s burning effect and acceptable proc rate. It's only 50ap and 1.25s to drop meteor post 105.
Tele - fracture cos u nid clones to help u tank. Wormhole nt recommended cos u dun wana end up on a pack w/o ap to drop Batu frm sky.
FN - cold snap. Som may say deep freez or bone chill but snap works best for me so far.
DS - prism. When in ds mode, spells u cast cost 7ap less. Need to xplain mor?
EBAY - CR. this is our bomb. Only 13ap when in ds mode.
Shocking aspect - mor dps since its buffed
Or energy armor - energy tap. Gives bonus 20 ap. or prismatic if u wana b harder.

Astral, cold blood and critical mass as passive.

You'll basically hav 130ap at least. See elite, turn ds, fracture clones out, cast 2 meteors(86ap) and watch the magic of cm returns. U may want ap reduce on meteor on source so u may drop mor Batu 1 shot. Do note thT the dps is insanely high cos meteor has 280% weapon dmg. But our survivability is less, nid kite abit. Abit doesn't mean 2-3 screens. It's still as Gud as previous cm/sc jz less survive.
I can play well with imba melee. Ph with chains,fast,molten if concentrate u won't die.
Imba range is a prob, tele,molten,chains the fat mages takes time n mayb som deaths.
And can't do korsik bridge liao. Can't fight with the fingering mobs and the birds. Rakkis n the rest r ok

Don't giv up on melee. It's doable, trust me. It takes awhile to learn to spam skills accordingly with kiting a few steps and not spamming 1234 while sitting in 3 desecretor lik our old god mode.

When 105 comes out, it's even easier since casting is 1sec only n 50 ap per Batu. The dmg is pretty insane. For now, the dps is almost near my previous shocknado 60k dps, can 10s kill stupid elites now at my lousy 47k dps. But when left solo mob it's slower dps ofc. It will b the next sc. I jz hope blizzard won't come and 'boom' nerf meteor.

Anyway, it's so lag n delay nowadays. damn.

Shocknado ww still works. Jz tried 3-4 runs solo no followers at 2.1atk per sec,25+ apoc, 43cc,43k dps using wizspike to boost spd and if u want use the bubble pop stretchtime(+10%aspd). Assmodan died in 40s compared to my previous 15-20s kill. Ofc i died mor times in the run too.

Diamond shards proc really helped in cooldowns.
Its really comparable to meteor killing spd.
When 1.05 kicks in with 3s initial freeze time, u can wind up 5-6 twisters and boom the hell out of those mobs.

Tried with minstrel tho, no luck with it. Seems lik the stationary ww procs better.
Problem is the fast moving and teleporting range elites, lik succubus tht manages to escaped the stacks of ww.
Other than tht, ww is still alive if u hav 25apoc and >2.0aps. Thats what i tot.
Wallance did said tht ww cannot b done at 1.6aspd. at 1.6-1.8aspd its preferable to do meteors. Above 1.9 aspd and 25apoc, ww really shines again.

cant decide on molten imp/star pact/liquefy..all seems good. showers are good too bt it cant hold and dmg single mobs good enuf.

Chantado or chantalo cnt rmb. Its a set wand and source...the wand is 1.46aps, the orb give another 9% aspd.

and to add, the shocknado ww can facetank assmodan blackpool. Jz tele fracture to evade the fireballs. Mayb its bcos of the wizspike ar BUT meteor build i cant facetank assmodan, prismatic also cnt proc cm fast enuf to diamond skin n save my arss..

Yah chants r real expansive. No joke, anyhow also nid to get it asap. Cos thr r still ppl using meteor builds. B4 every1 reaches 2.0aps faster get chants.

And nice jordan tho. Ppl lik the 25% dmg to elites. U rich liao. go get chants.

Jz bought 1m chant wand too hahah. It looks a lot better and yeng than wizspike.

Anyway, can't lock single elit at 2.1 aspd. Might wana try 2.5 slowly.
Lacuni bracer, witching hour, boj angler boots, tal rasha pursuit, aspd rings n amulets and stretch time skill may jz help. They say stretch time can stack. 4 bubbles will grant 40% aspd. Haven't tested yet.
Hopefully can 80%lock boss too lik sc then mayb can fight infernal 2uber bosses Liao
