Why hydra not benefit by life steal /Life on hit but affected by reflect damage???? is it fair???

Anyone tried ghom at act3???
Now ghom is the hardest boss in the game.

I killed him in 6-7 tried.

Main stats to improve dps from the best to lowest is crit chance/crit dmg, aspd, int.
I got 2300 int but my damage only 41k
Saw my friend reach 55k dps with only 1600 int
Wanna invest more on crit equipments but they are overprice and scare getting nerf later.

Seems we cant go for both glass cannon or tanker wizard unless we are ultra rich.
Imagine a item with
150int
150vit
+70 resistance to all
+ crit chance by 5%
+ crit damage by 50%
these kind of item normally cost 100m atleast :sweat

Btw im a tanker wizard with 7k armor, 800 physical resists, 650+ all resists, 30+% damage reduction from melee.

I just dont like keep dying, since some of the attack we cant dodge.
But now i think i sacrifice too much damage for defence, might sacrifice bit defence for damage.

Erm actually how can we can more than 1k resistance?
The max we can get Is 930 all resistance accroding here http://www.d3rmt.com/guides/diablo-3-item-...maximum-values/
I know with prismatic armor is 40% increase.... But 1.8k resist... How???
