i think personal pref gua. actually wizard is not THAT Much behind other classes. in my opinion blizzard did a good job because many ppl very undecided and end up the classes are quite fairly distributed based on several polls i've seen.

no one flocking to any particular uber cool / imba etc class. all class got nice and not nice

I got a weird feeling that Wizard got nerfed in the final release. My wizards spells feels weaker than in beta. Maybe its just me... Hmm

im happy with wizard...massive intel investment..att now 120 / lvl 19

lv 19 too, hard to kill santa b4 it portal away, even there are no other enemies around and able to surround him to the corner, i think my damage maybe too low. Anybody know how to calculate damage for wizard's spells ? ie magic missile and chain lightning.

Just heavy int invest and you should be fine with wiz in normal at least for not, never use a pot before so far.....

Damage calculation on the skill itself no? If not just head over to the official D3 site. It'll tell you the percentage of weapon damage a particular spell does.

Dual wield? No. Two-handed weapons, yes. The staff is two handed isn't it? Heck, I've equipped a bow before

Btw, the skill dmg is based on weapon izit? Then I gonna wield Axe for the rest of the game coz Axe dmg is pretty high. Higher than those Staff

i think at later levels the wand / staff will start to give more useful boosts to wizard, takkan hold 2H axe all the way lol

Why ppl talk bout build instead as the skill only by unlock... Uhmmm.

From wat I see is more into ur set attribute you get tat makes you different.

And player skill....

Wiz damage is higher compare to demon hunter, cause damage calculation of skills is = 100% or even = 200%.

Demon hunter very fast spell spamming like machine gun, but damage calculation of skills is = 40% ~ 60%.

Correct me if am wrong. Is about my observation.

Thn if run away, sure demon hunter win, got a skill like quick foot or dash.

Wiz is give AOE effect while get surronded.

wizard has teleport and slow time

so the spell, ie magic missile or chain lightning is based on the damage the weapon u are using ? i can use sword, staff, club, etc.
