i tried rend earlier.
seems like can't crit with rend.

but the damage output quite sick.
i just rend once on the elite to see what's the total dmg.

can inflict 2mil damage lol

IINM the crit is calculated into your overall DPS, which affects your rend damage.

The only thing which should effect rend damage is weapon damage. If you have a 100dps 1hander and a 100dps 2 hander the slower 2hander will always give more damage.

Hmm I thought it is everything calculated except IAS?

umm ok, I'll simplify things but in reality there's also damage range to consider.

100dps 2h, attack spd is 1 attack per sec, so each average hit is 100.

100dps 1h, attack spd is 2 attack per sec, so each average hit is 50.

Any tooltip that says damage is based on % of weapon damage will be based on the average hit number.

will it be a viable build to use rend to substitute whirlwind for the WW build? fury generation still d same using sprint..

Yes sprint must. u can use overpower too without primary skill bash.. but problem fury regeneration..

If talk about rend for ww build i prefer not.

my DPS low, but no wrath also can kill elite fast

Overpower will not proc LOH

Its stated in the patch notes for barbarian..
