but i believe that all changed with the 1.0.3 patch...

i have more passive/defensive gear...but after testing out sacrificing AR and armor...it still works..so meh but anyways

i have 3 items in my stash which are:
boots (vit + str = 300+ ) with 70 all resist
shield with 80 vit , 65 all resist and 10% crit chance
belt with (vit + str = 300+) with 75 all resist

and if i use that i will swap berserker fury with nerves of steel and sometimes replace weaponmaster with superstition.

no bro ! total of str and vit combined is 300 plus..that's how i count my stats on items wan..

for act 3 i just ignore pain, charge inside spam revenge, BULKHATOS GUIDE MY BLADE! i crit everything around me for 300k+ ...life leech also gives me +35k hp ++ which i think is way better than LOH coz it's a full heal everytime i revenge

hehe i was a typical 1100 all resist , 35% block chance barb with 1200 life on hit ... and 22k dps

no problem clearing everything but i dunno i felt quite gimp la i wanted to tear things apart..till i sold everything and used 200 usd to discover crit

i'm not here to preach but just showing all barbs out there that do not be constraint to the typical sword and board builds and there are many other paths to go out there!

i actually got a huge boost in RMAH coz someone bought my old sword and board set for 1200 usd..

i work...so i farm everyday from 10pm-12am lor...before sleep ... or weekends when the missus dowan to go shopping or go have "drinks with her girlfriends"

u know what was the best part bro? he bank in 1200 usd to my paypal before i even passed him the items...

for 1 second there i thought just wanted leave game...

when i started i didnt go dual wield

my target was first 45k dps...with a shield, manage to achieve that, then found a good weapon , so just replaced shield with the new weapon

u are looking for STR affix...

to them, that is trash...my andariel visage with +180 strength was only for 2m buyout...

bro, its not all about farming, seriously to be honest with u i wouldn't be surprised if our new tier 7 armor graphic will be a tie and a suit. because barbs only fastest way to get money is to play the auction house. when u get a level 63 rare and u think its junk sometimes double check it against the AH. i've sold things that had intellect etc that i thought was rubbish for 1-3m!

Added on July 6, 2012, 7:07 pmact is 4 is more than fine with 600 all resist. remember, what u are trying to achieve is fast farming act 3. and act 3 is about mobs hitting u hard those cowlike fellas, and goats that will spear u. so armor is a more important stat here, if i lack the gear, i would try going 600 all resist with superstition and nerves of steel as my passives, and probably dreadnaught + charge for a heal. as u gear up, u can sub all resist for dps / str / vit which are way more important stats imho.
