What skill set u use? Mind to share?

I'm glad you think i have god like skill, in reality i'm just an average player. Having said that, using armor/all resists to compensate for lack of ability is an adequate method of getting through the game though not ideal.

i still cant kill diablo (inferno) solo after how many times already.. i think need to kill him at co-op game tonight..

To be honest, you really need to get a softcore barbarian to learn how to handle softcore elites/bosses/normal mobs. No way you should let your HC barb play in hardcore, without first finding out if the similarly geared barb can handle softcore inferno. Otherwise you'll probably just die to the first elite you meet

0 AR is harsh for hell act4, running on more or less 100 AR now in hell act3 comfortable, dont do direct tanking, mostly involving avoiding arcane poison and shit

Bee was softcore king barb once before so no worry.

not rly, depends on your logical thinking skills imho, you get the 1st hit, pain? run fast fast to the nearest portal.

my 1st DH was at hardcore, reached lvl41 and died coz some idiots at pub were shitty

2nd DH reached 53 and died coz i underestimated the power of horder jailer elite at a room and went in to take it on TWICE before dying

experience in softcore do help thou have to agree, it gives u an upper hand to never underestimate what you are gonna face in inferno. the difficulty gap between hell and inferno is preddy wide

WTF... no!!

You don't need AR for Hell. You don't even need much for Inferno Act 1.

The only thing you need for Hell is a cheap "reduced level requirement" weapon from AH.

I've made 2 HC barbs, both times deaths were due to underestimating elites. That's why i'm on SC to learn how to deal with them and to learn what type of gear i need to progress. Having said that, i'm actually enjoying SC inferno after facerolling through nightmare/hell (i still died about 6-7 times but it's really from stupidity more than anything else) because there's actually a challenge now.

You sound like you're playing S+B, so for bosses you need to know if you're going to beat the enrage timer on inferno. Anyway, grats on 60 and good luck in inferno

when u cant afford those or when its not available, still have to make do with cheap AR gears mate, go HC and check it out, the BEST progression of ppl i know they reach act2 and kena tapao by belial, replay again, gear availability in HC is different than SC man, if u lucky or rich u can get a lowered requirement lvl60 gear and steamroll (assuming u dont make a mistake getting trapped or die one shot that is). 1 mistake in HC is more punishing than SC, i dont dare to risk my baby for the sake of my own ego to survive hell without AR lol

Added on July 23, 2012, 12:10 pmS+B is more useful when it comes to saving your dps in your team when shit happens and save them from death, unless you are rich or lucky then by all means go dps, i used a knife and a board for my current barb, for frenzy smite to seperate the elites from targeting my dps

put it this way, ive noticed act3 for instance, elite and champ packs sometimes come together, meaning they are clumped, arcane molten waller jailer horde and firechain constantly appears as their affixes, if you are goin dual weild dps or whatever, are you willing to risk your charc to save another? are you confident to be able to kill or hold ALL of em before they wipe ur party?

imho there is no definate combination of which is better, its only a difference in playstyle and the amount of risk you want to take and what you want to be able to do.

finally finished inferno on my barb solo yesterday night

its slow but the satisfaction is higher because i dont pay for pricey gear, most of the gear i got it from self farming, except the weapon bought very long ago for few hundred k (840dps, 6xx LOH, 70 CD, 50 str) and 7sin that bought for RMAH resell

the feeling of using own gear to play the game is much better than getting it from AH for multi-million.

the difference is you cant afford to die only mah, so if we are talking about not dying while doing a barbs job, then yeah AR is needed, softcore you have no risk mah, then it applies lor xD but imo, its worth getting AR for hell, more or less 100 is more than enough, no need more than that.
