with patch 1.0.3, it is possible (2%) to find the highest quality iLvl63 item in Inferno Act1. good news for those who has been doing Butcher run like me.

that also mean, the price of best quality item will drop.

i found myself re-summoning earth mystic ally often lulz.
and spamming conviction during fights for that 48% extra dmg.

Does it apply in Inferno? 1800life per hit per sec inferno not enuf. consider that those elite one hit you your hp half gone. we are talking about 20-40k hp ya know? 

actually those gear aren't really good , but from what I can see , he is stacking resist

If thats the case, seems like some people here occupied the 4 slots with:

1) BoH (as the oh sh!t button)
2) Serenity (double sh!t button)
3) Healing Mantra
4) 7 sided strikes (to "escape" from tricky spots)

So the Mystic ally doesn't play a role anymore? I was using the Water Ally. U think it still plays a role in inferno?

aye. same with me. however my first inferno gear purchase was a disaster as i only purchased resist poison only and did not stack all resist + resist poison.

i sent my monk to vacation while i played witch doctor, demon hunter and barbarian.
i play monk again after retiring demon hunter at level 60 while purchasing new gear for me monk.

deng 9k armor and 900 all resist sakit in act3 after ghom also? dafuq? O_O
need 10k armor and 1k all resist ke?

my monk now should have 8k armor and 800 all resist.

Should stop when you have around 700-800 resist and 7k armor. That's what I have. Once you reach that then start increasing your damage instead. You can have 1.3k resist 13k armor but still can't clear inferno cause your damage will be too low.

You guys think my dps is the problem?

15-17k is sufficient for act 3?

my stats:
all resist 820+
armor 7900+ after eirena buff
damage 28k after 15% breath of life rune and 18% from keen eye rune. seems like i need to use keen eye armor rune liao.

health 38k after earth ally buff

weapon 930+ dps fist weapon
hmmmm okies i must try harder !!!

5k armor 500AR 25k hp dual wield 15k dps with 1.4k LoH how far can I go?
