hi guys, for a level 35 monk, normally what gems you add for your weapon and shield?

weapon - critical hit damange or damage?
shield - intelligence?

waepon: either emerald (green) for critical hit or amethyst (purple) for Life On Hit.
Shield: Emerald for dex, primary stat for a monk

reach level 60 end of Act 3 hell.. suddenly act 4 hell seems a bit harder liao??

4 stack of nephalem valor fight azmodan...get 2 rares... haha. not that great also

20k hp for monk enough or not.

to build higher dps and critic. need sacrifice my vit attribute.

is the passive skill "one with all broken" or something?

i haz 6k armor 814 resist all yet some elite packs are hurting me real badly.

Damage and total HP is OK but you need more resistance, maybe up to 700+. If possible, get a shield with 3700-4700 blocked amount also.

my other gears are just so so too.

i lost alot of gold building my barb (1st character) and demon hunter(2nd character)
but now after playing the monk, i wanna make this my primary character

up a little more resist and armor. get some life on hit weapon.

life on hit helps to slow down your life drain progress until the heal colddown finish

2 ways of building an end game monk i think.

- life on hit with attack speed build
- crit rate, crit damage without atack speed

unless you have unlimited gold and $ to spend on accessories with LOH, IAS, Crit rate and damage then you can choose one of the above.

lets say i get to around 700 all res and 7k armor, would that suffice in act 3? i've not dare to try out act3 yet lol
have been thinking of life on hit too, hopping find an item around 800+ dps with a socket so i can chuck in a purple gem to get life on hit.
thats the cheapest way i guess since my gold doesnt permit

i'm looking at crit rate to start with + life on hit if i manage to get an item with socket
mine is so low...only at 5%

the critic one is very expensive build.

high cri + sweeping wind with cylone is fun. i can have 5 to 6 lightning twister at the same time

i prefer mystic ally can tank a bit

a temporary solution...use deadly reach with keen eye rune...
increase ur survivability a lot due to 50% more armor for 4 sec...
