QUOTE(Syd G @ Jun 6 2012, 10:12 AM) Btw the walker does impact the baby's ability to crawl.. I've seen some babies whom were put in the walker for too often, when they start walking, they cant event sit due to under-developed lower body. One actually tip-toe when she walks.. Main purpose is to keep out their reach from dangerous stuffs For me walker should only be used after baby can sit and crawl.. it keeps them from slamming their head on the floor or accidently hitting the wall. |

QUOTE(gkl83 @ Jun 6 2012, 10:23 AM) sometime walker also have danger too especially the baby trying to pick the stuff on the floor as they may use their leg to "jack up" themselves from inside... it happened to my baby as trying to get out from walker, end up he lost the balance and his head slam on the walker's body outside frame and with up-side down mode as lucky his leg still inside the walker... otherwise his head will heading to the floor... Xtualy my aunt..she's a nurse..she'll be furious if she noe that i put my baby on walker coz the fact she already inform me several time that its not gud for my baby backbones.Added on June 6, 2012, 10:25 am dangerous stuffs still keep outside the house no matter how... even though my parents in law keep the danger/toxic stuffs outside the house now, but still fenced up kitchen and staircase to prevent any unnecessary problems... But its my MIL request Haihh..i think i'll juz keep lagging buying the walker till he can stand up on his own |

Moral from walker..
I bought one for my 1st baby boy. We use it about 2 months plus.. Then simpan. Then use again for the 2nd one.. Then simpan. Now onto my 3rd baby also use around 2 months plus & she can walk d now so off the walker go back into store room. No worries bout the myth of using walker. Its just for a short span of period. But ease up their walking & others also. |
