Pep - I heard he wants to have a season break?..want to spend time with his family bla bla bla
Brendan - He never managed big clubs before but based on swans style of play,i think liv need a manager like him..possession football at its best!
AVB & Martinez no need to say anything shakehead.gif shakehead.gif

lol no, possession football without going anywhere is your idea of "possession football at its best"?
We need a big name manager. I may sound like I want instant success, but getting a manager like Martinez or Rodgers means we could lose players like Suarez.

AVB isn't that bad but he lost the dressing room to experienced players like Terry and Lampard. I can see the same happening here.
I'm a Rafa fan, and I think he would have done great things if he had 100m to spend when he was here, but I also saw him losing it in his final season and playing into ol Whiskeynose's mind games. Still, couldn't be worse than Rodgers and Martinez.

Guardiola would be a dream but then again we've only really seen him do great things with a great team.

the only thing why swansea not going anywhere is becoz they dont have the players & money..we have those two..well I juz gave the most logical manager that would grace our club..cant think any better manager that can take our club to higer level..capello??..moyes maybe??..seems far fetch to me

The problem is he won't attract big name players. We might lose Suarez, in addition to Kuyt, Maxi...
Who can we buy to replace these players?

In the end it'll take another 5 years for us to even return to challenging for fourth spot. Even that is not guaranteed as we haven't seen Rodgers at the top level.

Tell me about it ... Alonso, Mascherano, Torres .. we "kinda" made them sad.gif

Why did it have to come down to this :'( we honestly look like we are decades from Chelsea, Man City, Man United and Arsenal even though we've managed to get results against them.

Stoke City always manages to beat us. That proves nothing.

We don't look like we are miles behind. We ARE miles behind them. Just look at our squad, our marketability.
We have been playing catch up for as long as I can remember.

That's a wrong approach. We are not at the level of madrid or barca. We are not even the level of united, city or chelsea.

We are currently in the third level. We have got to get used to rejection just like how top players have rejected us in the past.

To be fair it's the journalists who are asking the managers. And these managers are still in a job.
What do you think you would say if someone came over to you and asked if you would like to jump over to a competitor? Would you announce to the world that you're interested?

I'd play Aquilani instead of Adam or Downing.
But what do I know?

Just 2 days in Liverpool and he has scored PR points with the fans. smile.gif

I'm guessing that's the end of Carragher.
