QUOTE(mat79 @ May 14 2012, 09:19 AM)
already explain about one way valve probs before. Erm, about one girl's friend blm tcu problem, since u r being honest mentioning the dealer sc forget to stamp the service book, another way is to ask any dealer sc(wakil servis, not branch sc coz branch sc has system that intergrated everytime u servicing the car) that u r always servicing, ask goodfaith from sa to stamp it and backdated the date. I know its not really good things to do that, but since u r actually service, thw sc do it wrongly, so, try to get the stamp(tipu sunat).

If u already send the car to eon sc to rectify the problem previously, this time send to prtn sc and vice versa coz their systems are not the same. Please only do this if something like this happened, not becoz u do not service at any eon or prtn sc, n just to take advantage of it on warranty part. Hope this help.

Ps, dont tell anyone that i tell u this. Tq in advance.

Done my 1st service  nod.gif

Total need to pay RM258.20  icon_question.gif

No ecu remap but after service the car response seems to be better
So the ECU remapping was a myth ehh? Just wondering the sluggish thing come from engine or the CVT.

Today i experienced my radiator fan functioning even after i switched-off the engine. It runs about 2 mins and off after that. Kinda cool feature but worried that it might eat my battery faster.

Seems like Samsungs and Preve aren't playing nice. I remember someone mentioned a Samsung phone as well - couldn't link. Have you tried a BT pairing? Or sambung usb?

Tried BT pairing did not work, will try USB later. I also tried using Nokia, HU do not like Nokia as well. I think only iphone and blackberry can pair.

7 hours is a long, long, loooonggggg time man. How many cars can they do simultaneously?
They were doing 4 cars, 2 preves, 1 elantra and 1 audi a4. Then along the way, one fortek owner came to change side mirror and repolish bonnet because he tore off the rear spoiler.
Off topic, this new elantra is a big hype, you pay RM100k plus but you get 16v dohc engine? Our Preve is better, AT is so yesterday already.
*
this is not true.

I paired with my Galaxy Ace. MP3 Music can stream through bt without any problem.

The only problem is when making calls/receiving calls. I can hear the voice clearly unfortunately at the other side couldn't hear me clearly. Maybe the positioning of the mic. Wonder where the mic would be.

How do you manage to pair the Galaxy ace? My HU cannot detect my phone but my phone can detect the HU...confuse rclxub.gif
*
first u need to enable the bluetooth at HU at setup if i'm not mistaken. then enable bluetooth at your android and let the phone be discover. they key in the pin.

hi guy,
no mean to offend, after going thru this thread. i decided to give up preve.
first thing i don't like is the sluggish start of this car.
i will go for other car. sad.gif
all, thanks for sharing.
here's the thing, smartly u need to test drive first before you can make decision and conclusion. All the the things that u read here in this thread is just a perception.

go try first, nothing harm.

4th days since after i got my car till today, i noticed that there were "Tak" sound each time when i push start my car. I heard the sound came from the gearbox panel, is it a normal for a car when push start? Have anyone of you experience this sound?
QUOTE(ahaidir777 @ May 20 2012, 02:10 PM)
Me also experience this ”tak” sound this morning just one day after getting my car yesterday sad.gif  sad.gif  sad.gif
*
The 'Tak' sounds is actually the gear console lock and unlock. The sound appear when you swith-on and switch-off the engine.

Try during engine-off, change your gear lever from P to N, I believe you can't. I guess it is security features for premium CFE. Another thing to observe, there is no steering lock.

QUOTE(torres09 @ May 21 2012, 09:22 AM)
My comment going back to Melaka over the weekend.
1. Highway damn smooth and stable. Mostly 120kmh. Highest reach 150kmh. Vios and Inspira cucuk me. I just let them pass smile.gif
2. Whistling wind noise at front. I think is not CVT as i heard the real CVT sound. Need to check.
3. Radio alternate frequency is working. Auto wiper working. Cruise control din try cos forgot hahaha..
4. Wife and baby sit at back sleeping. SIL sit in front ask why got a bit wind sound come in. I said 140kmh. Terus diam cos she tot 110 hahaha...
5. General opinion of a few relatives: big, spacious interior, nice exterior. A relative driving 2.0 Akod saw me start engine and said wah so high tech!
6. Primary school nephew saw GPS and ask why my daddy car dont have?
7. Head turner on the road and at parking. Uncle outside restaurant smoking keep stare at my car.
8. One relative cant help but ketuk on the door. But din say anything.. Haha

I think for 73k is worth it. Now i just sad cos more and more on the road will lessen the appeal. But hope also u bros get ur car soon. Guess i will need to enjoy the attention and exclusivity while i still can.
I used to think tat i buy proton bcos i can only afford proton. Now i think, if i can buy a good proton, why spend more? thumbup.gif

Agree, I was speeding at 120km/h feeling like 80km/h. I got experiences getting vios cucuk2. many times. damn jello...

When your car is at the show room with the plate no and road tax on. Plate number after one week u pay the d/p? Bloody hell. Screw him/her!

Get the plate number yourself and throw it at his face. Go to your nearest JPJ office and book the number. Running number starts from RM210 if i'm not mistaken. You can get your number in one day.

I guess your SA don't have enough money. Screw the Branch/dealer. Go to other place. My SA use his own money to get me my favourite number.
*
You're right. Registration number can get from jpj within a day.

Unfortunately, once the chassis and engine number registered with jpj and the grant has been issued there is no way to cancel the registration.
