QUOTE(antu_biskut @ May 16 2012, 08:01 PM) if u r using non rooted then u cant flash to rocket rom v1..the best way is using pre-root lpy then flash the rocket rom v1..i would like to recommend u to flash from rocket rom GB but seem many ppl having trouble while flash it direct from GB so the only solution for now is go for pre-root LPY.. The pre-root LPY is safe to flash already?Added on May 16, 2012, 8:06 pm QUOTE(irone @ May 16 2012, 08:04 PM) 'pre-rooted means the developers already inject in the root capabilities on the stock ROM itself, hence pre-rooted stock ROM.Rooted is just a term to call your devices being successfully rooted. If you don't flash a pre-rooted ROM, you will have to flash in the CF-Root kernel to enable rooting capabilities, hence rooted' by Superman7 This post has been edited by Bboy4Life: May 16 2012, 08:06 PM |

QUOTE(antu_biskut @ May 16 2012, 08:08 PM) un-root/non-root means rom that didt hav root access..stock rom Sorry for this noob noob question, what is the difference between CF-LPY kernel and Abyss kernel. What do they do? Hopefully u can shed some light to solve my doubts..hehe pre-root means the rom already been inject with root access..so no need to root manually the rom..basically pre-root means stock rom that been added root access.. root rom means either pre-root rom or custom rom Added on May 16, 2012, 8:13 pm save or not its up to each user to determine..if u afraid to flash using CF-LPY Kernel then use the Abyss Kernel 4.2 to do all the stuff..actually im also using abyss kernel to do all the flash custom rom/wipe/restore.. so far i can tell no problem at all during restore or installation.. |

I can use the same method as first page to root my device(pre root german rom) via PC Odin, just that it is using pre-root german rom rather than the pre-root sg rom right?

Okay,i'll do it now then..will keep u update..thx!u mean i reflash pre-root lpy rom on top of my current pre-root lpy rom? This post has been edited by Bboy4Life: May 17 2012, 01:04 AM |
