I heard many owners letting go at a loss, hard to find buyers

Ya, agree, the market is really very bad now, furthermore, many owners bought the Skypod unit during the booming time, yr 2012 and 2013. I know a newly married couple who bought a 3 bedroom unit and are now having a hard time paying the bank installment and maintenance. They were assured that rental can go up toRm2500~3k but now Rm1500 also hard to find tenants!!

It is very bad... Look at the people spend on CNY, you will notice... My friend teaching piano got few cancellation, according to her, a lot of parent cutting cost and have to sacrifice extra hobby thing... The market is not looking good ahead, have to find ways to cut expenses... 

Loss doesnt mean the price is lower than snp price becuz u need to take into consideration interest paid during construction, lawyer fee on loan, fees paid during key collection, maintenance fee while holding the unit, lawyer fee again when sale...

Yeah true, the seller can calculate all he wants to try break even but what's the use if no buyers? Seller can calculate, buyers also can calculate right? But now the property market is so bad, so hard to get loan, so it's the "buyer's market" now

You're right. Apparently my friend is in the same boat as your friends (couple) now. Hope they have the holding power to overcome this.

I just saw another advertisement Skypod studio letting go at 400k (i think still can nego). Yeah, many investors are having a tough time now esp when the market is so cold. I think it's the supply vs demand thinge lah, now whenever i see people selling condos esp outside supermarkets, with the little condo building models on the table lah,handing out brochures lah, i will just "siam"...very damn jelak already. Last time every tom dick & harry also grab one just to show they can be condo owners, now jiatlat already! Easy to buy, hard to maintain the loan and the monthly maintenance fees etc etc

No lah, where got so expensive! One lady agent called me last week to ask of i am still keen, she has several units. One of the units 1033sq going for 600k neg (dunno 9th or 10th floor). Some owners just simply shout high2 price to make their property seem valuable. What's the use if no actual transactions?

Looking at IOI's new project Conezion launched recently. Based on the finishing at Skypod, would any of you consider IOI a reliable developer in terms of delivering units + facilities as promised?

Moderate far for me. I think walk around 20 min unless walk very fast, should be 15 min.

But, plenty of cheaper apartments also with similar walking distance or even nearer. Unsure why ppl would willing to pay RM 600+ psf for it and it dont seems LRT plays a huge role here.

A friend holds a unit and claimed his agents said response was very cold compare to other condos he owned.

Well at least this is freehold and opposite plenty of shops!
