The 1.6T engine feels powerful enough in a 508, so it should do much better in a smaller bodied 408. But have you done research on the engine before committing? I did some research on the 508 before I bought it, and knew all the potential problems that could pop up and true enough my 508 is leaking oil after 6 months of ownership (10000km, went into workshop once, now leaking again. Going for second time )
