For those who are having problems pairing an iPhone. You need to stop the car first. Then pair. Can't do it while driving.

But actually, I dun like pairing so much, because no 'privacy' unless you are alone in the car.
*
Yea the car have to be stationary.....Can i ask you each time we enter the vehicle with the phone that was previously paired with, will it auto pair once we enter the vehicle? Cause mine have to select manually from the menu to connect to the bluetooth device or is there any setting to auto pair once the engine is started and the phone is within the vehicle

Sorry to hear this. I hope you get your car back soon. Also hope this is a isolated case. Although many might have pick up their cars, but to hear this kind of problem is certainly disheartening....

Did the SA says how long it will take to solve this kind of issue?
*
Lucky the SA was kind enough to contact the Service Center Manager to have someone to look at it at 3pm today and the they have temporary fix it....means sometimes the temperature will display negative vales which i will get hot air or -- i will get cold air....

She meantion to drive in to SC on monday to look at it....should be quite fast to fix it....will update u guys on it....so do check ur temperature if its ok when u collect the car cause i suspect the temperature will mess up the climate control for the air conds

Btw just to update my car situation is really going from bad to worst.....what i thought was a simple problem turns out to be a big 1.........the service center is no doubt really bad i really have to admit....even worst then perodua service center in terms of attending to customer and solving it....

Yesterday my car have been sitting in the SC for 1 whole day without anything checked. Today after calling and calling and calling and pushing them only they just replaced the temperature sensor and they told me the problem is still there.....i am starting to doubt if they do really check ur car at 2500km since its just an inspection.......

I have to say i am really dissapointed with peugeot since its my first non local car and its giving me so much headache and inconvinience moreover their snail pace respond.
My advice is do please check properly when you collect your car or even your facing any problem as small as temperature sensor do ask them to fix it

Btw just got back from collecting my car.......after much preassure from my SA and my self finally get to resolved it......after replacing it they still need to make some setting adjustment before its working back again.......it took them max 2-3 hours and my car was there for like 2 days including today.......

Puchong Service center smile.gif but serious need to really check properly when collect the car....if not it takes ages just to resolve a small issue....

Any of you guys been to glenmarrie SC any feedback? Might plan to send there for 10k km service

Yea i agree too someone from the top management have to really look into this problem seriously.........

Last night as i was driving my car and take a left turning at the traffic light there is some squicking sound so i wasnt sure if its the car or something external....so i just let it be......this morning my gf is heard the same sound when making a left turn and its seriously bothering me........The car is only 1 week old and its just back from fixing 1 problem and another problem comes up....

I have never face this in my years driving local cars. Even my Myvi after a few years only problems will surface.....

Sorry for the false alarm....just came back from SC...they found that a part from the top of the spare tyre somehow dropped into the boot. It sounded more like a suspension problem then a knocking metal problem thats why i was very concerned just now....thanks for the advice!

Hi guys....bad news...my 408 turbo central locking is causing so much problem now......when in the car i cant lock the car with the central locking button at the center panel. It will say front right door open when its obviously closed. When i off the engine and get down from the car i cant lock the car with the remote. It will not lock. If i use my key to lock it manually only the driver's door is lock but the back pessenger door can still be open

So now currently my car is consider unlock. Really bad luck with this car.......either is bad unlucky or really peugeot car quality is really terrible....car just 1 month but already 2 times masuk SC

Yea i have to agree with skyjack.......no point giving us 5 years warranty when its so troublesome cause the car keeps giving problem. They make some adjustment to the doors and according to the SC the door does not make contact that is why it wont lock no matter how.

Hope its a permanent fix....really can dissapointed that after just 1 month the car gives so much of problem

Remember my complaint on the rattling sound on front-left door sometime ago in this forum? I was washing my car one day when I found this..

[attachmentid=2989065]

at this location...

[attachmentid=2989066]

I believe this is part of the plastic fender but fell off (or broken!!) during installation.

so did u manage to get this fix kejusan?
mine also having some rattling at the back...not sure its the pessenger seat or the boot. I find that the tools on top of the spare tyre kindda shacky n not sticking firm there. Especially those small tools.

for you guys that are facing the rattling sound you can bring it in during the 2500km service and complain abt it.......i did so and so far its not there anymore after i got it back from the service center......my rattling sound was from the back of the car......

I think the aircond is cold but provided it needs some warmup period especially on a hot weather......

May I know how do they resolve the rattling issue? I believe you've been to Seremban SC for the first inspection. During my first inspection, I've commented on the rattling issue and they just tightened the door trim. The rattling doesn't appear again after the inspection but only while I was speeding on the highway that I noticed it's still there.

Anyway, they didn't happen to ask you for the warranty cert during your first inspection?
My SA told me that it wouldn't be a problem but I've been driving cars with carburetor injection up until I've bought this 408, so its been a habbit for me to wait for few seconds (until the faint high pitch sound dissappear) before starting the engine. The manual also mention that the engine does not require 'pre-heating' by leaving it idle for few minutes before moving. You will burn unnecessary fuel if you do this.
*
I brought mine to the puchong service center as it is the nearest for me. I did not ask ask them how or what did they do to address the issue but i did ask them if the issue have been solved and he said yes. The next day i did drive all the way to ipoh and back with average ard 130-150 did not hear any sound..........my rattling is normally when i go on bumpy roads it does appear.........but so far after the inspection its not there anymore.....
