Um, so to avoid confusion, are you selling the Race mech keyboard or keycaps?

I am looking for the Race mech keyboard, shipping to singapore. Hope you have stock!

Um, you haven't replied to the PM I sent earlier. So what would be the total price of a Race Mech keyboard including the safest cheap shipping to Singapore? I could easily get someone to pick it up for me (you're in Penang, right?) but I just did cheng beng two weeks ago and won't be back so soon.

Just to clarify: cherry red switches, green backlight, 75% keyboard right? I can accept either reds or blacks.

Keyboard means thr keys and board, plus some extra novelty style keycaps

btw when I say safest cheap shipping, I just mean something un-expedited. Maybe Malaysian registered mail or something. Give me a quote for price of insurance. I don't need keyboard in a hurry but have plenty of time today to do my browsing before work hell begins again tomorrow!

HI
No offence intended, bro.

I think your prices are really good. I didn’t find geekhack forumers saying the keyboard breaks down. They were just saying the keycaps spoil unusually fast. But unfortunately, anyone who buys will never be able to replace those keycaps thanks to being non-standard size. They look like 1.5x keys, but who is going to stick control and alternate keys on arrow keys? Wouldn’t I look like goondu?

I am aware of the difference between ABS and PBT. Originally I was considering sticking some transparent keycaps I got from Signature Plastics on the arrow keys. But they are 1x, smaller than the KBT arrow keys!

It is manufacturer’s fault, not yours. (Actually the geekhack guys were also saying many importers kenna screwed by the weird manufacturer decision to use non-standard keys.)

Fortunately I think someone else just replied to the thread and is ready to buy, so please sell him.

BTW I appreciate your patience in explaining so carefully many things. Not being specialized in this business like you I was ignorant of the dif between vortex’s suppliers.

PS: if your deal doesn’t come through with that prospective buyer, I can still buy. But I want you to take a few of the keycaps off a sample KBT keyboard: primarily, the nonstandard Delete and Escape keys, as well as the 4 arrow keys.

If they are 1.5x key caps mounted on standard Cherry switches, surely they don’t have stabilizers and therefore a smaller keycap should fit fine. IE standard delete, escape and arrow keys should be mountable on the switches. (EG Ducky’s illuminated key cap sets should be able to fit all.)

I don’t mind if there’s some space left over. After all, most keyboards do have space between keys, no big deal! Just make sure all keys can still operate fine.

If you are able to promise me that, you have a deal for 86USD.

(Actually, if you can post pictures of these, you might sell easily since everyone will know the keycaps can be replaced when needed!)
