he knew he wouldnt be long in power so he made a deal to retire fast. most smart pm if you ask me. he made in no highlights also, so people will fast forget about him as he enjoy his money made. you dont even listen about him in news or anywhere, he like just went to pulau song song enjoying life.
is it even constitutional for a pm to surrender national territory to another sovereign entity without approval of the parliament and referendum with the people? (dont think so!)
When Malaysia surrendered oil fields to Brunei, no one said a thing. Now when China want to claim Spratly Island and Scarborough Shoal, tiba-tiba some forummers make noise pula. What an irony.

When Mahathir exposed this agreement on his blog, Badawi immediately responded the very next day. Makes you wonder if Badawi had already contingencies planned when news of it surfaced.
how about Brunei and Malaysia jointly develop those fields and split profit 50:50, like what happen in Malaysia-Thailand joint development area? once again when China make claim, some forummers here make a lot of noise. but when Malaysia donated fields to Brunei, no one said a thing. is this vroom vroom or what?
