Very little only. laugh.gif
Because I apply when I started working. So very low. Not even 15k laugh.gif
*
OCBC normally approve the application of an applicant if they previously have CC record which I found very !@#@!#@! for the new applicant.
But I got mine direct from the Personal Financial Manager approval so easily got the card rclxm9.gif
So anyone interested, do let me know icon_idea.gif

I have 2 cards in hand. I see no reason they rejected me doh.gif
ANd yes, please I want the card tongue.gif

Now I know why I got rejected already.
They (OCBC fellow) are rejecting your application if your first card / credit limit is way below their requirement.

Eg :  if your first card is 5k credit limit. Take the 5k divide by 3 (making assumption that the credit limit is 3 times your salary) and you will have there about 1.5k. And 1.5k x 12 = RM 18k per annum, definitely REJECT

And I find it stupid. First card in life, and fresh graduate, expect to have 20k credit limit ? sleep.gif

Anyway, that's how they evaluate and how they approve your card.
And CCRIS even clean also won't help anything. Even you provide 3 months pay slip also they won't evaluate you using the payslip. That's what I had been told tho. They will still refer back to your credit limit per card !
*
if your annual more the 36k by right you can take more then 3 cards..
but 20k +- you only can get 2. I not so sure.
but if you want, my fren can help you. just pm me your hp no. and i will ask him contact you. brows.gif

Let's not read too much into the calculation method. As stated, the person is a Sales Manager, and not someone in-charge of card approval.

mine i get from personal financial manager that work in CC department.
working in the OCBC headquaters KL.

i not sure whether same with KTCY.
i apply mine CC with the person work in OCBC under CC department.
a nice guy, we discuss about some rejected application and why it happen. he said that normally those online application tend to fail because of authentication problem. EG: he said that happen to his colleague which approve a online application which using other people's IC no. or EG pay slip statement, working place and etc problems.

for KTCY, bank negara and i confirm with him those income with 36k above can apply as much CC as you like. but those 24k and below cap to 2 cards only.

anyway those who want to apply can give me your contact and name and i will pass to him. he willing to travel to meet you and explain you in details.

cheers....

Anyone was at the Curve recently and used their OCBC Ti?

I was at the Curve on 5th of Oct (First week and no weekend yet) and top-up my Starbucks card. However, I did not receive any SMS informing me any rebate received.

Can't be the cashback finished so early of the month right?

at first i thought the 5 % rebate only for  grocery stores in msia + singapore only....
maybe OCBC should consider to advertise the Titanium Card to have this 5% rebate for grocery stores world wide.
that will look more appealing laugh.gif
*
OCBC is just the issuer or some sort like insurer for MasterCard.
As long in the range of the MasterCard and OCBC MCC agree to, 5% will auto activate.

Wonder how come some of you guys finding hard in getting one.

OCBC is very generous to give this titanium card to professional body, like Lawyer, Auditor, Doctors.

I am the card owner since last year.

Last month, I helped my sis to put in her name and contact on OCBC webpage, within 2 weeks she received her cards.

Indeed this one of the best cards for the first RM1000 expenditure in a month.

Added on November 12, 2012, 2:16 pmMay I know when will the extra RM20 cash back on telco bill payment's reimbursement be made?

I paid consequently every month. Didnt get also.. =.=

yes, CARD CANCELLATION and CARD LOST is totally different..... citibank practise the correct way, i think... because once i cancel your card, which means i have no credit limit already, why the transaction still go thru.... this is not making sense...

OCBC practice both CARD CANCELLATION and CART LOST the same way, which i get quite shocked, because all the time i am using foreign bank, and everything was fine...... until this local OCBC bank...
*
OCBC is foreign bank. Again check you auto billing policy. Different T&C. Read it.

hi, just got my OCBC titanium today.
Applied on 2nd of January and received the card on 4th of January. Any new titanium card holder here?
May i know how do i check whether I'm eligible to get the free luggage promo or not. I have called up their CS and they told me I'll receive the luggage within 8weeks, else I'm not selected. Is there anyway that I can check (via sms or online) whether I'm being selected?

Thanks
*
call your agent if you apply from him. else keep on bugging the CS.

Hi fellow Titanium Master users,

I wanna ask, do we have to call OCBC to inform them to "activate" our card for use overseas? I'm going Singapore soon.

My logic tells me no need though...OCBC being a Singapore bank laugh.gif

Kindly advise notworthy.gif
