I was get rejected too for first application, definetely will go to apply again

There's a 6 months cooling down period, no?

Just get another card 1st if you need to use it, then re-apply when the time comes.

Bank have their guideline for risk management.
Lack of credit history also consider rick for banks.
Thus, just give a try as this indeed a must have cc by now.

Yeap.

Blame the actuarial that calculated your risk factor laugh.gif

Tbh la, the more debt you are in, the more inclined the bank to provide you a credit card.

hello senior/experienced forumners,

can someone advice on the authentication of users from this forum who claim they're ocbc staffs and can help with the application?

i supposed ocbc staffs would be experience enough about the "lobang" on how to increase the success rate, so if anyone who had their cards done by such users here, it would help me to shed my uncertainties about their identity ...

cheers ...

Staffs so what? I rather not take the risk, besides applying credit card requires plenty of personal information that might cause problem for me in the future.

My advice is to proceed with care.

If you really want, meet them at the branch they are supposed to work at and fill the application on the spot with them, I guess.

Don't worry, some banks are like that. Just appeal, if not, move on and wait for them to offer you.

Sorry..tat one is for cards only..tat mean they will calculate ur month housing car loan + 5% of ur cards outstanding as ur commietment..total commietment can't excess ur net income 70 or 80%...

P.s: if ur card don't hv any outstanding they will take 5% of ur credit limit as ur monthly commietment as well..
*
And this calculation is based on?

I mean, any proof on whether they really use this method or is it just a mere guess? smile.gif

Credit cards: banks will not give it to ppl who really needs it, but gives it to ppl who doesnt need it

This son, I HAVE to agree with you laugh.gif

I know a person that earns less than the amount needed and in tonnes of debts, but the bank still offers him a CC tongue.gif

So Cheers.

You do know, you can apply another CC so don't be too dishearten.

Fool proof way to get your OCBC TI is to go commit a huge amount as FD.

Then you will be lucky enough to qualify since you proved you have plenty of money to waste laugh.gif
