It seems OCBC don't trust their sales agent which is funny... I applied online, then scanned over my application on Wednesday, on Thu the sales agent called me (which is like the 2nd or 3rd time) telling me someone else is going to call to verify and tell them you've been informed about this and that bla bla bla. When did 2nd person called to verify, it was true of the verification done. Basically it is to verify the sales agent rather than me. LOL. Now waiting on the other call and approval.

Tell me when you find out too. I emailed the sales agent and sms'ed him. See how it goes from there. Will keep you updated. I earn RM48K so I see no reason for rejection. In addition I hold 3 cards from 2 other banks and I really just want to cancel 2 of the cards and replace it with a Citi CB Plat and OCBC Ti and maybe give a try for UOB One Plat. LOL ... revamping my wallet with new cards.

The telemarketer is making me apply again which I am with additional document I suppose. We'll see where that leads. After which I'm going to voice out too if the status isn't what I expect. biggrin.gif

I submitted my 1st application via email to an OCBC telemarketer on Aug 8th and verification was done on Aug 9th.
Did a self-check on 14th and it was unsuccessful. Emailed the telemarketer telling him I want to appeal and he said cannot but said he will resubmit. So I submitted additional documents of 3 months bank statements showing my salary deposited and also my another latest payslip. They did 2nd verification yesterday so now I am just waiting on the outrcome which will have to be after Raya.

Question - Why would I need to apply a 2nd time instead of them re-appealing my 1st application? But anyway I re-applied and now waiting on the decision. Due to the extra long weekend I guess I have to wait extra longer.

Question - Was it wise or does it effect that I did a personal loan last month to clear my current credit card outstandings and then this month applying for 3 new different credit cards? The reason is to cancel off the current ones I have really.
