Now I know why I got rejected already.
They (OCBC fellow) are rejecting your application if your first card / credit limit is way below their requirement.

Eg :  if your first card is 5k credit limit. Take the 5k divide by 3 (making assumption that the credit limit is 3 times your salary) and you will have there about 1.5k. And 1.5k x 12 = RM 18k per annum, definitely REJECT

And I find it stupid. First card in life, and fresh graduate, expect to have 20k credit limit ?

Anyway, that's how they evaluate and how they approve your card.
And CCRIS even clean also won't help anything. Even you provide 3 months pay slip also they won't evaluate you using the payslip. That's what I had been told tho. They will still refer back to your credit limit per card !

That's what I heard from one of the sales manager that called me up just now.
And I applied it online. He said usually is like this. Referring back to your credit card limit.

They only display your cashback in total for the 5% and 1% catogery. Have to manually keep track.

they only do once a month on issuance of statement lar...u are asking too much

UOB also compute the cash back once a month, can only see when statement is issued

no lar, cos seeing the type of question u hv been asking about OCBC online, I feel ur requests are way beyond what MOST of our local banks can offer

i even provide them my BE slip too. some even want my name card.

And from my 2 or 3 experiences earlier this year in attempting to obtain clarification on their banking products and services, they don't respond AT ALL to the enquiry/feedback form on their website. When I finally went to the branch to enquire, the officer attending to me brushed it off as a responsibility of the HQ.

OCBC Card is one of the best Credit Cards that I have used to date. Because of OCBC, i said good bye to Citibank, CIMB and going to say Goodbye to Public Bank.  Still keeping RHB cos they have the instalment free for Hospital. Else, also going to cancel.

Ask you and HB / Wife to get one OCBC Card each. Total combined rebates a month will be RM100.

One card will be used for the 5% rebates such as Petrol, Restaurants, Hypermarket. Easily can hit RM600 a month

Another Card for the 1% rebate, Insurance Payments, Utility Bills, etc - easily can also hit RM50 savings for Middle Income
