Just called CS to check the reason why my application is rejected and how I can appeal for that.. But he can't give any reason after verified so many things!! He said can't appeal, can only reapply after 6 months!!! Why???

Hi All, I recently got a call from on OCBC CS (I reckon its one of their Tele Sales Consultant) and she was vouching on some latest promo they are offereing for their OCBC MC Ti customers. I was told that I am eligible for some Credit Card Cash Advance Loan or some sorts based on my available balance and that the interest being charged is like the lowest in the market.

I was told its something like 0.5%/month of interest.

Anyone got any similar calls to this?

Erm, you fax/email to the bank reach the bank directly. You submit through agents, dont know pass how many hands.
Dont worry about GST, spend RM10k get RM50 back. The longer you wait, the longer you miss chance to 'earn' 5% cashback.

Met U*B ONE first, applied, only few days later know of OCBC Ti. I think OCBC Ti might give me slightly more, but it boils down to ease of payment.
Having bad experience with the application for both card. Both promised GST waiver/offset, but for various reasons (definitely not my fault) i ended bearing the cost (havent finalized yet for OCBC).
Basically got bad experience with the sales/personnel.
Now contemplating between U*B ONE and OCBC Ti, if the OCBC Ti personnel can deliver what he promised, straight away cancel the other card.

i seriously advise someone to report to ocbc to improve their online banking. quite confusing at times.

I just got my card last week, may I know how to get my pin number? It didnt come with the card...

and then if I wanna make all my utilities bill payment one time in post office, will I get the 5% rebate? because I heard that it's not applicable with agent and I not sure whether "post office" is considered as an "agent" or not.

i not sure whether same with KTCY.
i apply mine CC with the person work in OCBC under CC department.
a nice guy, we discuss about some rejected application and why it happen. he said that normally those online application tend to fail because of authentication problem. EG: he said that happen to his colleague which approve a online application which using other people's IC no. or EG pay slip statement, working place and etc problems.

for KTCY,  bank negara and i confirm with him those income with 36k above can apply as much CC as you like. but those 24k and below cap to 2 cards only.

anyway those who want to apply can give me your contact and name and i will pass to him. he willing to travel to meet you and explain you in details.
