The benefits are considered as "long term" promotion for me. 36k but with strict filtering. So, don't be disappointed if get rejected. Just try again. I got rejected once when I already earned more than 48k/annum that time. |

QUOTE(Titan_Gunners @ Jan 17 2013, 08:33 AM) Pls discuss for CC related topic only. You may head to Home and renovation thread, there are specific thread on this issue. TNB is cheating all the customers by using 1 month =31 days to calculate the step rate of electricity bills instead of using the actual number of days in a month.Mainly due to their new billing practice since last year. 1 month using estimate bill, 2nd month using actual bill. |

Just got my rejection letter. Took abt a week for them to reject my application. Probably because I dont have any loans with any banks. Gonna give the agent another chance, if it fails again that's it. Rejecting my application because I dont have a loan is riddiculous. Not having a loan doesnt mean I cant settle my monthly bills on time.

As a banker (mortgage), I'd say if you do not have any CCRIS history, no one would know how your repayment habit is. Do you have any non-bank loans that you pay? Like PTPTN, etc? You can use that as an appeal you know? |

Thus, just give a try as this indeed a must have cc by now. |

hello senior/experienced forumners,
can someone advice on the authentication of users from this forum who claim they're ocbc staffs and can help with the application? i supposed ocbc staffs would be experience enough about the "lobang" on how to increase the success rate, so if anyone who had their cards done by such users here, it would help me to shed my uncertainties about their identity ... cheers ... |

Blame the actuarial that calculated your risk factor Tbh la, the more debt you are in, the more inclined the bank to provide you a credit card. QUOTE(-Matrix- @ Jan 19 2013, 12:04 PM) hello senior/experienced forumners, Staffs so what? I rather not take the risk, besides applying credit card requires plenty of personal information that might cause problem for me in the future.can someone advice on the authentication of users from this forum who claim they're ocbc staffs and can help with the application? i supposed ocbc staffs would be experience enough about the "lobang" on how to increase the success rate, so if anyone who had their cards done by such users here, it would help me to shed my uncertainties about their identity ... cheers ... My advice is to proceed with care. If you really want, meet them at the branch they are supposed to work at and fill the application on the spot with them, I guess. most banks required some sort of credit history before they are willing to give a credit card (term: unsecured loan). This is worse in the US.
