can you tell me how you root your phone? got any yellow triangle issue or not? did you use jig to reset flash counter?

i want to know what is your CWM recovery version? how do you go to recovery mode? don't use the CWM app.

go straight to recovery via pressing Vol Up + Home + Power

and then go to restore and choose the superom again.

if still not ok, download superatmos kernel v3.3 and try the above step again:

Better wait for official one if you don't want to root your phone.

no need to worry about the google play issue. superatmos already got the fix.

ignore the yellow triangle. can use usb jig later to remove it.

I got the same problem with my TB. Cannot restore oldback up apps. I've changed the back up folder a few times but still cannot load them. TB shows 0 apps thatcan be restore...

i'm pretty sure mate coz i perform the back up file detection check on my device and it got two folders; 1 in my sdcard and 1 in my external card. but none have my apps.

i even tried to back up my current apps and tried to reload it. still it shows 0.

edit: finally got it. i reinstall TB from app store. i tried to reinstall before but didn't work. now its ok!!!

yeah, wipe thru odin and it will wipe your current data. so back up back up back up!!

is this a official firmware? i tried it before and it wipe everything including my IMEI details. so to be on the save side, just back up all your data. you never know what will happen.

is it eh? damn, i must have screwed something while flashing the firmware.

ok guys, if its non wipe then no problem. i shared my experience so need to be careful with this stuff.

thanks to sifu anttoo for clarifying this. i did download the firmware from sam firmware, not intratech. so that's why its a wipe version.

Non G version is worth it. G version not worth it.

Go for gt9100 not gt9100g.
If you buy g version, you will start complain and got headache. Go for non g set instead.

Sorry mate. I'm not bashing the G version here. But its just an advice. If g version users are offended by my comments, i would like to apologize to you all.

aiyyo, my wife's G version screen is having problem. got 2 layer; above layer is normal but lower layer looks blurry and when i restart the phone, i can see a grey screen area instead of totally black.
i suspect its the LCD is having a problem.
can i claim warranty for this kind of problem? its not LCD crack or what so ever..item bought less than 5 month a go..

did you flash custom rom during that period? i did flash mine so will try to revert back to stock firmware later today and send it to SEP where i bought it.hope they don't mind about this flashing stuff

did any of you tried to root g version ICS firmware? planning to upgrade via kies.

i've been using the official ICS release for G version on my wife's phone. it seems ok and i really like the UI. while using the video player, i saw this icon:



did any one tried this option before? is it possible for us to stream the video to nearby tv via S2?

well said mate. i just upgrade to ICS via kies and i can feel its smoother than my non G phone!
but now i need to send the phone to samsung center, need to claim warranty for faulty LCD.
