official rom can just upgrade via odin on ur pc

if u r rooted, it doesnt mean ur battery is last longer or ur phone smooth n no lag.

but if u r rooted, u have the possibility to make ur device battery last longer, n smooth.

u have full control and access to ur phone, to ur system files everything.

root in linux means u have access to all files just like u have administrator account in ms windwos

if u try to unlock a phone, then

5 / 10 times incorrect , u just have to wait 30seconds to try again.

and i think u can still try till forgot passowrd is show up

then u can enter ur gmail id n password to reset the password

but if u try to enter the password to hard reset/factory reset the phone, 5 times , all will be wipe out

correct me if i'm wrong

Hi all, this is what i get from online chat with samsung cust service

The conclusion are

GT-i9000 = No update anymore

GT-i9100 = Got update but still unstable to be release to Kies or OTA. User still can upgrade at Service Centre

GT-i9100G = No update yet

GT-i9300 = RRP still not known yet

it stuck at setup connection...apparently, connection to my sgs2 is loose because of back cover,.. has to push it harder.. . thought dis one also cant flash like chinese one..

now pass and rebooting now..

android with spinning belly again... n reboot

welcome ICS!

confirmed can flash over DZKL3 ... checking csc n going back home ...

n my apn setting still there.. n problem connecting to kies as expected

as for ICS for GT-i9100G , camera faster (still no Camera Failed), earphone button slow response for pause/play/end call problem gone, gtalk has video call, in setting can add battery percentage
usb jig still can use
usb otg work flawlessly
bluetooth, wifi, call , message everything working


problem : kies stuck at connecting... will try later

currently RAM free = 283MB
used RAM = 404MB

total = 687MB

just now my new ics got rooted already. smile.gif so happy with this. thanks samsung malaysia for always slow

non G also has update. DXLP9 same as singapore. check ota n kies

assuming u r coming from stock samsung rom

for G who already flash indian ROM yesterday, after flash malaysia ROM which is DXLP6, u can change ur csc to XME

I'm running GT-i9100G ICS stock ROM which we got today, flash it through ODIN

GB bootloader cannot boot in ICS right? with exception of custom/modified GB bootloader

before use DZKL3 , then indian ICS, then malaysia ICS

IMEI is ok and matched with IMEI on the box.

Because, i try flash stock ICS from stock GB through mobile odin , end up getting to recovery only
