QUOTE(Zypher @ May 31 2012, 02:52 PM) Hi - this is issue with Samsung driver on win7. Google how to reinstall i9100g driver with win 7 and follow steps. I had the same problem before upgrade and once the re-install complete, the problem went away (i reboot comp again after re-install driver just to be sure). MY I9100G is Stock ROM ICS 4 now from Samsung and no intention to go Custom ROM. Can't seem to find any downloadable link for the driver after i google it.. can you assist with a link pleaseUpgrading Stock ROM from KIES is painful and needs patience as server keeps disconnecting or time out. I did mine yesterday night around 12am and there were still some disconnections and timeouts but eventually after about 7 times, it completed the download and started the upgrade ICS ROM process. The other thing to check is to make sure you have disabled Debugging mode in Apps>Development>Debugging - if not, KIES will not recognise your I9100G when you plug into windows. IRO the connection to win7 issue on I9100G after ICS upgrade, I did not experience issue with KIES when I did a backup after the upgrade. Maybe can try the re-install driver solution and see if it helps. Please always do a backup first before you upgrade eventhough it is suppose to be non-wipe upgrade. You never know what can happen. Overall, ICS upgrade is worthwhile (it took a while to complete though) to make i9100G a smoother experience than GB when multitasking. Good job by Samsung dev team although there are still a lot of room for improvement when compared to the custom ROMS. |

You'll need an active internet connection to download this. It will create a dbdata.db file when first started. Delete the file and try again (try Administrator permissions if you still can't get it). I am connected to the internet, tried deleting the file but still same, maybe coz im using company's pc the admin locked the access d lol |
