Guys, any idea where is the system folder located at?

I'm trying to locate it by using My Files and also ES File Explorer but still no luck to locate the folder..

Experts out there please guide me here..

TQVM....

Is ur device rooted? If it is, use either root explorer or enable root directory in es file explorer settings?

Since hydrogenics has a heme manager now, is it ok to flash any theme for aosp/aokp or must it be specifically made for hydrogenics?

On the side note, going to try out fluxi kernel since it seems to be getting good reviews smile.gif

To use a theme, must it be specifically made for that rom, or aokp/aosp themes all can be used?

It should be base on CM9 theme manager. So its not flashing but installing apk and set it in settings. Any theme for aosp/aokp should work

You can look for themes here http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=527

I am using this one now http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1668789 on CM9

Ok thanks for explaination! Gonna try find a good black theme drool.gif

why no ppl port nexus ics to I9100G?? my friend's note can find nexus ics rom.  huh.gif
*
1) Most devs are using i9100
2) ICS for G isnt out yet, no kernel source, if port without source, will have lots of things not working

Conclusion: Its not worth it to port CM9 to G version yet

Samsung generally is like this. Once products are released, ur on ur own, no more new major software updates. That's just part of their attitude i guess. Other than that, samsung makes the best android smartphones to date biggrin.gif

Meet our SGS2 brother  :-)

Just wanna ask u, which do u like better now? Touchwiz Nature or Stock ICS? Also, is the display nice? In terms of colour reproduction, which would you prefer, S2 or S3?

I feel stock ICS bland. Prefer TW UIX. Overall S3 is better than S2. Just need dev to start built custom rom. But like usual i always prefer stock rom than custom.
*
Hmm ok, thanks for feedback. Hopefully i can try it out at a store soon smile.gif have u tried smart stay or s voice?

i dun say that it will keep on stick at 1200Mhz, but use more frequent compare with GB....
*
ICS does need more horsepower to run compared to GB, but is it always at 1200mhz even when doing simple stuff like scrolling between homescreens or listening to music?

i not sure, coz my one is G version. But the state time is longer compare with when i using GB...
but to ensure UI smoothness, is suggest not to enable power saving
*
Oh power saving, it UC the phones, so it lags pretty bad
I think on gb the same thing too
