One of the best tutorials I have ever seen is by Cross Counter featuring Air. Even though it is for SSF4, so many concepts apply to fighting games in general, and I'm sure anyone who watches this would definitely benefit. I keep watching and re-watching:

Loving SF5!

this i really agree. panic, jump too much, desperate to get out of corner asap, no patience, really lead to easy KO by others.
since the dmg is like giler tinggi in SFV compare to USFIV, patience is really important.

my current target now is not to jump more than 5 times a match with ryu. last time thought jump in is a must and become common but then its the most useless way as jump in = 1 way road without block enable. so if mess up jump in = GG.
and mostly i'm in training mode now practicing 10 lap of dash = to&fro = 1 lap and 100 times hadouken and 100 times shoryuken continuously before finding ranked match.....
since i still nub and try to get let my muscle memorize it instead of my brain. (tutorial from gootecks)

Agreed, used to really jump in a lot, as I believed this was the way to start attacks. Still hard for me to be patient in games though lol.

Trying to re-learn SF and a new approach, hopefully with better results.
