What's the best for the proce? I saw Olympus, the 8.0 Megapixels one. How is it? I am new in photographing... So i will use it only for some family reunion and normal photo shoots... Thanks in advance. But the most important it is small, not those bulky types. And the LCD 2.5" inch. Thanks.

if you like to shot natural light & low light photos, i highly recommend fuji F11. in fact i plan to buy one myself. if you read many forums you'll notice ppl praise it. it's a compact cam with very sensitive sensor which means the ISO can go as high as ISO1600. but if like to shoot mostly outdoor then you might wanna check out canon A610/620. consider this : most compact cams from reputable brands are capable of taking good outdoor, bright light but the real challenge is dark or low light photos (not still objects). that's why i'm getting the F11 . my 3 yr old sony PnS already start to fail to power on maybe she realise i'm getting new one

I was saying the Olympus SP-350. I think it is quite good. Although Fuji is a well known brand but i like Olympus or Canon more. And by the way what's the price for F11?

A610, the LCD can turn one right? My dad says he won't let me buy those cause he said it is easily "longgar". His friend's "longgared" already.

that's right, the LCD on the A610/620 can be twisted. actually it is helpful to have twisted LCD when you wanna take photos/movies from different angle. btw the fuji F11 should be < 1.5k. try not to buy cam because of the brand but buy it because of it's capability & the features. personally i prefer canon & sony myself but having read camera forums i found out what an amazing cam the fuji F11 is, although i don't prefer to use xD card. the canon A620 was my first choice too before i found out about F11.

don't be so closed minded pls, the twisted lcd is for ease of aim angle. if u don't want to use it. u can push it backward and place it back and don't need to twist it at all. Consult to those professional digicam shop for how to take care of the cam. This is really a good cam. I personally recommend it. I am currently using Canon A75. Not to mention there is other good cam out there. take your time to have a look, and choose the one that suit u most. cheers.

My Minolta S304 keep on complaining battery low and auto shutdown although I put in new battery. I also eyeing F11 now. That's the best camera you can get now.

I have a few friends with Canon swivel screens; no such 'longgar' problem so far.
Get the Olympus SP-350! It's like the A620, without swivel, but 2.5" screen, 8 megapixels. Fully manual, lens adapter support, with a flash hotshoe! Also, it's the size of the A510/A520 (smaller than the A620.)
However, I tried the SP-350 at a shop and its batteries died when I went to Manual mode and was setting the shutter speed to something above 1 second. I put in my own 2300mAh AA batteries (only 2 are needed). It died also! Then I tried with my fully charged 2300mAh spares. Also died.
Go get the SP-350, but make sure it doesn't have some battery problem.

QUOTE(albnok @ Dec 31 2005, 01:28 AM) Go get the SP-350, but make sure it doesn't have some battery problem. What about the Olympus SP-500?..more or less closely priced as SP-350.
