Buying Advice canon a60 can support 1GB CF card ?, thinking of buying a new 1GB CF card

as the title state can a canon powershot a60 support up to 1GB CF card ?

i heard somewhere that digicam have a maximum supported storage. since a60 is such an old digicam so i was wondering it will support up to 1GB CF card.

thinking of getting it for my gf a60.

any forumer here tried before or know what is the maximum supported CF card storage ?

Max shud be 2GB (FAT16 limitation)

I am not sure what you are using now, but A70 with 256mb, and new energizer e2, the memory size is enough to drain all the batteries, in one single go. Example going to Disneyland, and shooting pictures like mad/very high usagethat what happend to me most of the time. So use rechargables, and normal batteries as backup. The A 70 does get warm, I don't know why. Too much usage?
