QUOTE(Eiraku @ May 12 2012, 01:52 AM) Sigh. Oh well. Currently downloading the complete Evo X design documents to pass time. 78MB in all, yum. about the VG, have a look at this link > http://www.mitsubishi-motors.com/corporate...2004/16E_03.pdfit says otherwise about the VG's effect on the car. |

QUOTE(Eiraku @ May 12 2012, 02:09 AM) Oi, that one for the last gen Evo okay. Roofline shape asso different, vertical slope of the C-pillar / rear screen is more severe. There are no updated docs for the X / Galant Fortis / Lancer '08 platform regarding this matter, but a quick look at the wind tunnel simulations for the GF platform clearly shows better airflow past the C-pillar. oh the roofline of the EVO and a normal lancer has such a big difference? vertical slope of C-pillar and rear screen more severe? Thus, adding a VG might simply add drag as the spoiler (especially the Evo X's) has been designed to work with the new roofline. Not sure if ADDING smaller vortexes is gonna be useful, except maybe to clear rain . i thought the only diff is that normal lancer roof is flat while EVO's has 2 "bumps" or "ridges" on either side running through the whole length of the roof. Added on May 12, 2012, 2:30 am QUOTE(Pip_X @ May 12 2012, 02:11 AM) ![]() This is the freaking car who banged me just now at 7pm. Look at the right side of th car, still have my car's paint work on it! After hit me, she don't want to stop the car and just drive away! Luckily there's traffic jam and I managed to run to this car and confront the driver. Unfortunately, she don't want to admit her mistake and keep telling that she already turned on her signal bullshit! Turned on signal means she can bang ppl's back??? Demmit! QUOTE(K3nnYkl82 @ May 14 2012, 03:51 PM) even with supersakit .. if u meet EK + B16A / B16B / B18C .... they also will kick our arse... ok point taken... their power to weight ratio is much much better.. even my putra days .. catching up with a EK + B16A is a nightmare .. mind you, Satria GTI 0 - 100 (on paper) is 8.5 seconds.. putra with the same engine lesser weight is slightly faster.. while ours one .. 10 second... putra having nightmare chasing them up .. dun expect with supersakit u can get any closer to them .. unless D16 engine .. lolz next time see EK/EG appearing fast in rear view mirror, move aside.. |

i had my inspira for 5 months since 13th of Jan, and up until now there have no major problems apart from some little rattle noise that i fixed myself.
and it's a marvelous car to drive, always puts a smile on my face whenever there's an open road ahead the only problem: so much potential poison involved... hence so much $$$ fly away also.. lolz |
