Common problem or an isolated case ?

After a few emails and your video from the YouTube been forwarded to the MMC & Proton R&D, below are the replied that I receive.

1.      It was a normal condition if any low decibel (dB) noise came from the rubber bush when the ambiance/weather condition in cold condition. This because all the rubber bush at a rest condition especially after overnight parking. 
2.      Most are the rubber bush was carried over from the MMC parts which is no modification has been done as the car was been rebadged to Proton. Mostly those materials been developed to suits with their export country.
As of our case our climate mainly in hot condition and that’s why there are some lack in cold condition.
3.      And if we granted your request, to replace all of the rear components, you will have a chance of having the same noise once it has been install the new one. And yet, you will complaint it once again. Furthermore, once you remove the whole component chances if having secondary defect became very high once you install the new one.

As a conclusion from your statement, I would say it’s a normal condition based on the comment from the MMC. No replacement part/component will be granted. Noise won’t effect to the performance of the car and  drive ability. The noise we accept as a mechanical operational noise that not effected to the performance of the car but irritable to customer’s driving pleasure.

Is the other car, or even the fake Inspira, have this sound?

If Proton wants to say that this is operational noise,

Please ask them to explain this:

1) Why persists for a few weeks, continuously even when the car is driven for a long time?
2) Why only rear left?
3) Why other inspiras dont have this issue?
4) Please ask Mr Abdullah and Mr Nik if it was snowing or sunny during the test drive with them.
5) Please ask Mr Shahril if he forgotten what the mechanic at EON KB told him regarding the serverity of my car's noise
6) Proton acknowledge the noise, which can irritate the owner, but declined to fix it?
7) It is not of low decibels, as it can be clearly heard, louder than that of the engine noise.

Please explain this. If Proton does not want to follow up with this, Please inform me.

If they DON'T follow up, then we're essentially buying "AP Set Warranty" cars lor, which is sad even for the money we saved. And MMC is really not giving a fucuk either sigh.

Go to the papers, heck, you can go to Consumer Tribunal asso and get back enough (I think RM15-20k max) to afford yourself full Titans all around (you can tune it to comfort no problem) so that hopefully no more sound.

Don't forget to CC DRB Hicom asso - hopefully they shake up Proton enough to stop the "tidak apa-ing".  Or at least get YOU a better deal.

Unfortunately though, there are A LOT of car manufacturers (especially here in M'sia) that will resort to "defect is within operational limits" (aka, denial of responsibility) when they encounter problems they couldn't solve - or resort to making up sheet to void your warranty.

Sigh. Reminds me of Toyota Juru telling me to pay RM30k to ship up my car and cargo ship it back to Indon/Japan when my Avanza gearbox broke and they couldn't do anything about it - keeping in mind that the first gen, Indon CKD Avanza was below 50k OTR. Why 30k, "gearbox damage is normal wear and tear" they said. "Not covered" they said.

Watafuk? 30k is more then half the price of the fucuking car!

I had to drive a car with a broken gearbox all the way from Kulim back to Toyota Shah Alam (trust me, it was nerve-wrecking), who solved the problem for about RM3k. Just lol.

Or fucuking Ecotint with the, "oh the bubbles on the demister are normal for Inspiras, not our fault so cannot claim and we can't do anything" - when I've PERSONALLY seen a LARGE NUMBER of FUCUKING Inspiras with much LESS SEVERE bubbling on their demisters.

The Malaysian service industry is on crack. Really.

Reminded me of how MMM pushed the responsibility back to the owner for driving the CVT in manual mode too often and cause it to breakdown...

Email every CEO, COO and related Execs you can find. MMC, DRB AND Potong. Then the papers.

Legal action doesn't work much in Malaysia, too much fucuking money involved. Unless you're willing to play dirty too and can afford it lah (ot unless you have a GREAT lawyer).

Bro, pls keep their reply and when you do go to the papers, show their reply. Give them a timeline to respond and if they don't, go all out to the papers.

2) Sluggish during RPM below 2k (really annoying during traffic light fuuuuu)
3) Wind noise at C pillar
4) Weird sound during acceleration ("voooo vooooo" sound something like that)
