Anyway, he's using UGLA4.  nod.gif See his signature. LOL.

LOL. Still getting connectivity issue with OC/UV settings on. Different location (been travelling to Ipoh as well), hit and miss, sometimes just ok.

Maybe should just reset OC/UV settings to default. Seems like AOSP CM9 is catching some attention here, maybe it's time to check out the new features since my last visit. biggrin.gif

not sure is any latest custom rom had complete the wifi direct function. as I remember, stock only have wifi direct on and off only but without any configure option. now I'm using miui and surprise, it's include the configure now. just tested, work fine without any 3rd app like s2.

Wifi Direct for file transfer?

if you know S2 wifi direct, it's exact same thing.

Interesting!

I wonder if it would be compatible with S3's S-Beam. biggrin.gif

different thing. wifi direct using wireless network but Beam is using NFC.
not sure is S3 S-Beam compatible with Android Beam or not.
*
S-Beam is Android Beam + Wifi Direct, to be exact. smile.gif

Hence I wondered if MIUI's implementation would be compatible with S-Beam.

Did the white GNex made it to our shore? I got a colleague interested to get GNex and she's asking for white one. Most likely will sign up package as well.

nice, have you test it out with other compatible phone such as sII or note or sIII ? does it work properly ??

i really wonder why google released a crippled wifi direct for gnex.
*
Just give it a try, doesn't seem to work.

Enable Wfd, then it disabled by itself. Just that now we have menu for Wfd, but can't do much. Can't rename device. Just wait for next Nightly release.

Don't know but it does work perfectly...

I just wonder why you guys are worrying about the size, it's NOT like it'll destroy your phone or anything like that... It's just an APK.

Push this into /system/app?
