I read about this very unique project 2 years ago, but there were no further news after 2011. What happened to it? still on?

The concept is really unique and outstanding. I am thinking of going to pay a visit at the sales office if it is still open. Thanks.

Anyone staying at Nilai who can help me?

Still on going , just very slow due to some interior changes to design as many buyers preferred not to have the soaker pool in the units.
Why don't you just drive there to take a look.
I'm not from Nilai but drove there end of last year to take a look.
Putra Nilai is not a big place, easy to find using GPS.

I drove to Nilai Spring Golf Course to check out this bungalow in the sky project. I think I saw some semids finished and 12 bungalows on the fringe of Nilai Spring Golf Course. I cant find Green Beverlly Hills unless that boarded up site on the left of the bungalows is the one but no access.

RM950mil investment in Green Beverly Hills phase II
Get Daily Property News in Malaysia, News Powered by PropertyGuru Malaysia

Aug 13, 2014

Malaysian property player GD Development has entered into a joint venture agreement with three China-based firms to develop the second phase of its Green Beverly Hills project in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan.

The signing ceremony with its Chinese partners — Debao Group, Fugland Group and Suzhou Zhengyuan Landscape Group — was witnessed by MCA President Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai.

Additionally, the company roped in another investor by the name of Liu Ren Peng, a successful businessman from Dalian city, China.

“Since the success of GD Development’s Green Beverly Hills Phase I was so overwhelming, we are now proud to announce that investments in the second phase has reached more than RM950 million,” said the company’s press release.

Phase II is expected to be completed by 2018 and will focus on creating ideal modern homes nestled amidst stunning natural landscape, it added.

Inspired by California’s famous Beverly Hills, the 350-acre Green Beverly Hills is an eco-friendly township that features high-end homes, as well as commercial and recreational facilities.

Furthermore, the township “is well-established as an international logistics and educational hub, with development plans underway to make it the leading biotech and medical centre for the region,” said the company’s website.

Minutes away from Putrajaya and Cyberjaya, Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and the newly opened low-cost terminal (KLIA2), the township is easily accessible via six major roads. These are the Maju Expressway, North-South Highway, New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE), Lebuhraya Kajang-Seremban (LEKAS), Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong (LDP) and South Klang Valley Expressway (SKVE).

How's the rental of sky bungalow?

Seems like many of the renters are those who work at airlines, businesses and colleges/universities in the vicinity. I've only been there twice to follow up on fixing defects which the developer is good at following through.
Have put mine with agent on market to sell if possible or rent out due to change of plans and being out of the country most of the time. But, I do follow up on the GBH sites on facebook.

All implies the same thing meaning fit to take possession and buyers are given a time frame to go collect keys after this, do 1st walk through to look out for defects and rectifications.

You go collect your keys, entry and parking cards and do your payments first! Then go with the person from developer's office to do the 1st walk through of your purchased property checking every thing and writing down any defects on the official defect form whereby you dated and officiated with your signature. When defects are fixed you go back second time to walk through again with developer's personnel. Hopefully all recorded defects got fixed by then or you noted new defects, then process repeats again till all defects got fixed. There is a 2 years warranty.
