I am curious about naza bikes, particularly the latest 650cc one. Who have bought naza bikes before and riding them now can state whether the quality, performance, after sales, spare parts etc is ok or not?

Naza Blade 650 pre-2007 if you can avoid at all cost.

Newer revision of 650 has improved so much, and the latest EFI model (2012) comes with new ECU settings, and much improved parts.

Cheaper then er6, and can tapau er6 also.

owh yeah...heard a lot about that.. even in the new EFI version also the problem still occurs.

There is this one guy, bought a spanking new 650r in KL, rode back safely to his hometown in JB, until he realized he was riding with that single piston alone all the way from KL laugh.gif laugh.gif

the price difference between the next cheapest 650cc bike, the er6-n is quite big (around 8 - 10k)

performance wise, ok

maintenance wise also quite ok, but not as easy and cheaper as the er6-n (easy to get parts)

so the savings of 10k would be worth it

10k is little in savings over a period of 120 months; just dont want a sick vehicle day in day out.

Don't worry la, if you take a proper care of it, i don't think it will spoil easily smile.gif

Know your bike well, know its limit, don't forget about its regular maintenance, (this applies to all kind of brand of bikes)

Blade 650 using a V-twin engine. A v-twin engine and redline are not friendly. Last time, many blade 650 riders thought their bike was a racing bike, pushed until redline all the way. Thats why some of you always heard of the valve patah problems laugh.gif

this one true

a twin cylinder engine is affordable to maintain

and if you take care of it properly (which is also easy) and don't treat it like a superbike (it's a naked standard bike for god's sake), your blade 650 will serve you for a long time

rider skill dependent. I've been tapau'ed by a honda wave in klawang. I was riding a 250cc that time. kemaluan saya amat besar.

Zaman bila tu bang hehe. dah xde dah problem tu sume..

Naza blade series is a good starter bike coz cheap. quality wise not bad but slighly lacking from leading brand.

But the biggest prob is after sales service/support. damn bad if compared to kawa/honda.

Then not many bike servise shop want to repair ur bike due to naza lembab and somehow 'rare' bike(xtau nak repair). Leaving u just naza service center and several shop in kl if anything happens.

Adding salt to the wound, naza blade almost have no resale value except the r version but it too suffers massive price drop. but it may change with time..

im a proud naza blade owner and i love my bike.. I do recomend to other people... but issir worth the 10k saving for the above said disadvantage? only u can decide...

when it comes to Korean.. I think we can still have faith in their manufacturing skill..
unlike the Chinese..

but they have a lot work to do.. cos both blade are just big and heavy.. not very nimble in the corners...

exactly one of the main reason why i splurge 36k cash on an er6-n

knowing that i can still sell the bike 5 years later and lose only 8 - 10k,
